I'll just type 6 boses of tosic foses and say "oops" afterwards. We'll be too busy arguing about whether it's an animal rescue, hazardous incident or entrapment to notice anyway.

Righty-ho, time to toddle off to bed and leave you young 'uns to your wild Friday night plans. Back to work tomorrow, hopefully the finger will manage all the typing. I seem to be fine with everything, except that I still can't bend my finger well enough to reach the letter "x", but I don't think that one is going to be a big problem.

I have now finished my assignment and module quiz which are not due until Sunday - which means I have officially gone from being behind to being ahead, yay!! Plus I now only have the interesting subject to do, not the horrible one I was really hating doing. In celebration I present you all a bonus wattlebird photo, as seen in my assignment.

Miss Meow put her head on the escape key and made a window full screen, but that's as bad as it's gotten here too. Maybe Friday the 13th being unlucky means black cats get the day off?

There is a young one around too, still being fed. They like the raspberry bush at the moment, it is covered with insects for them to eat and still has a few bits of fruit too. This one came down a bit later to grab a raspberry for dessert.

A currawong turned up in time to be photographed too. Not using this one for my assignment, so I thought I'd share with you.

My void has spent the morning napping in her fluffy pink cat bed. Neither photogenic, nor particularly alarming for the superstitious.

A wattlebird just showed up and I was able to get a decent photo for my assignment. It's a bit of a relief, I was starting to think birds had abandoned my garden entirely.

3/10. All guesses.

Miss Cross is sad to not be friends, but she had now been hidden to reduce your stress levels.

This is a good spider, it keeps its legs together in pairs so you can pretend it only has four legs, just like a cat or dog. Plus it kindly puts a nice distinctive cross in it's web to make sure it is nice and visible for you. Nothing to fear here, this is one of the good guys!

I'm surprised I don't have any blackbirds around as I have put down lots of mulch they normally like scratching in. But I don't recall seeing a blackbird in ages. I do have an occassional mynah. I did have a pair of currawongs and a wattle bird this morning, hopefully they will come back for the next survey.
