I've decided today's kitchen theme is "probiotic". I have yoghurt culturing and started a new pot of sauerkraut. Once I am off the antibiotics I will have some reinforcements for my intestinal microflora ready to go!
An old fashioned ice cream sunday with whipped cream and a cherry on top
It is the exact same product, the only difference is the label the chemist prints out to put on it. Definitely highlights the importance of shopping around, especially if you have regular prescriptions.
I can see some wilting tomato and potato plants outside that disagree strongly with your assessment.
I was right, more antibiotics. I got the script filled at the on site pharmacy, that turned out to be a much more expensive option than the discount chemist was.
Back at the doctor's for a finger check. There is still a bit of infection, so I might end up with more antibiotics. It is definitely much better than it was though.
I've got some here too! More than a few drops, it's up to a legitimite (light) shower. This is very good news for my garden.
Stir fried broccoli please
I think it comes down to sleep cycles. We go in and out of deeper levels of sleep, and if you wake up at the right time you feel more refreshed than if you are woken up from a deep sleep. The cycles are a few hours long, so a three hour sleep can mean you wake naturally at a good time, but an extra hour might mean you wake up half way through one.
Mr Woof is not a collie, but he does have that fixation thing - so much training advice centres around using treats or "high value objects" which don't have any impact because once he is fixated there is absolutely nothing else of interest to him. If he eats a treat in that state it is only because it is the most expedient way of getting it out of the way! All the advice I have received about how to deal with that is to start further away from whatever he is focussing on when he is still distractable so that you can work on it gradually, but he is like an on/off switch, there is no in between to work with.
What a beautiful boy. How old is he now? Mr Woof (and a previous Madam Woof) started to get a bit quieter around 2-3 years.
34.5 at my place, but my Mum lives north of Melbourne and its almost at 40 there.
