A load of laundry, a load in the dishwasher & I just loaded up the green waste bin with weeds. And if I can get all the planting done today that will be a load off my mind!

I don't use a lot of data, so having everything unlimited means all the NBN plans are very expensive for what I use. I'm on a Telstra 5G plan instead, and have found that after I run out of data and they reduce the speed it is still good enough for me to use, so I'm just on their $25 a month plan. I run out of data allowance for the higher speed a week or two into every month. Occassionally if it is very congested and slows more than usual I will switch to using my mobile as a hotspot - I have a $120 a year 120gb plan for that with Catch, and don't generally use that much data. So my monthly spend for mobile & home internet is $35.

Obviously if you do a lot of gaming or high resolution video streaming (or just have lots of people in your household) this wouldn't work, but for general browsing and watching videos on my tablet it is the cheapest option I've been able to find.

Food pantry win today - I got a whole chicken & some crumbed tenders. This answers both my "what should I make for dinner" and "what should I take for work lunch tomorrow" questions.

Pretty much, but it's more potato rosti is a kind of fritter.

The one's I'm making have a little bit of potato in them, but are mostly corn and zucchini.

I'm cooking a big batch of corn & zucchini fritters for the freezer. Two dozen done, about another dozen to go. This is rather slow going in my little press which only makes two at a time.

Edit: finished! Three dozen fritters cooked.

I think getting the ability to write the history is what makes you the victor, moreso than winning the actual conflict. Which is probably why killing every man, woman and child and then salting the ground was so popular in the bible, you don't want to leave anyone alive to tell a more compelling version.

Work is over for the day & I finally have two days to myself, yay! Time to start catching up on all the cleaning and gardening I need to do...

Christmas is nice, but it is a bit hard to fit everything in when you don't have any time off and I have fallen a bit behind on a few of those not completely vital chores.

Having experienced a really terrible harbour cruise in Hobart many years ago I am very reluctant to step foot on a boat there again. Actually, I've had a terrible cruise experience on Sydney Harbour too. I think I'll stay on dry land.

A general reminder to you all: Do not set things on fire today.

I think I'd go with the yeeting plan.

Mr Woof's not going to be happy, it's not looking like it will be cool enough for a walk this evening. And obviously it will be too hot tomorrow too.

That was perfect thanks. There was so much food there though, I ate the whole lot and now I'm so full! I won't be able to eat again for a week.
