I have approval for the rental place I'm less fond of. Haven't heard anything from the one that looks 100%. And I still haven't seen either of them in person.

The one I really like is currently vacant, so I'm presuming if they were liking my application they'd be moving fairly quickly on it, so not hearing anything is not a good sign. The inspection for the other one is booked on Thursday, so there is still some time for divine intervention.

But at the moment it's looking like it will be mostly about just how deceptive the 7 year old photos are in relation to the current condition of the property, and what's in the mysterious corner that none of the photos show. The other place I can piece together all the photos and the plan to get a great overview, this one has a few missing sections that my brain is imagining terrible possibilities for. Especially in regards to the door through the laundry, which in this place would be the most used entrance. If it's a dodgy set of steps or something it's going to be a hard no. I suspect it's just not in the photos because it is utilitarian but not pretty, so that will probably be ok. But I need to work out how I'm going to manage Mr Woof's access, which can be tricky with no sliding door to put an insert in.

I did. The companies that my workplace contracts obviously think sweetening up the staff after jabbing us is good business sense.

Flu vax acquired. The nurse this year was the most efficient ever, I was leaving almost before I arrived. Lollipop was also aquired.

If anyone's looking for a stupidly large decoration but didn't think the alien was quite right for you, there is a new option on Facebook you might like to consider.

Whole lotta bull

Sandstone can explode if exposed to fire, so be cautious about where you use it. Should be fine as a support, just not right against where the fire goes.

Miss Meow will have to decline box nomming due to lack of tooths. She would however accept a box sitting invitation.

Miss Meow wishes her fellow Void a very happy birthday, and would like to express interest in a share of the treats.

Sky pending

Edit: sky has moved through ominous red into pale orange. I'm expecting an eye-searing ball of fire to appear any minute.

Eastlink account has now been updated with the new vehicle. I had to phone them because the previous owner still had it on his account.

It does make me wonder what the legal situation is if you just keep driving on someone else's account. Would they be stuck with the charges because they have agreed to pay tolls on that vehicle, or would it be considered some sort of theft by deception because I know I'm not really authorised?

My brain just does not compute budgeting that way. I budget on my fortnightly pay cycle, with monthly and yearly payments averaged out.

I had that dream! Oh, wait. That wasn't a dream, that was the dental surgeon. I paid him to do horrid things to my teeth.

I think attacking people and eating their brains is the legal line, as long as you don't get that far you're just walking wounded.
