I guess it beats not liking the conversation and it becoming locked.

Depending on the country, depictions of fauxbait can either be ay okay or borderline illegal. In places like Australia and Ireland, they have laws that are aimed at hentai, but because of the way they are worded, could also include fauxbait as well.
I was referring more towards the fridge nuking scene, but then again, this is the same series that has tubing down a mountain from an airplane.
I actually like the alien reveal, and it's telegraphed throughout the movie, so it's not like it comes out of nowhere like some people claim. I also think it ties in well with the villain's mysticism as well. With the nazi's hunting for the arc or the holy grail made sense because Hitler and other members of the SS were obsessed holy relics and did dabble in trying to evoke divine powers. The Soviet Union on the other hand was mostly secular, but was experimenting in psychic manipulation and thought control all the way up until the 80s. Meanwhile the whole space race between the US and USSR breathed a fascination in extra terrestrials very similarly to the phase Americans went through. So having a psychic obsessed villain trying to seek out alien artifacts that could unlock those abilities makes sense.
As far as dumb but fun Will Sith movies go, it's one of them.
And thanks for reminding me, I gotta add Wild Wild West to my list.
TRON Legacy is one of those movies where I watch it purely for its visuals and music. It's a let down in terms of story and action, but I stop everything to look at it when its on.
I used to watch that movie a lot as a kid. Yeah it was dumb, but that turtle guy man.
Sadly no it wasn't, but I would gladly shake the hand of whoever did it.
X, how could you 😥
They're definitely fun "I want an excuse to go to the theater" movies. I remember going to 1 through 4, having a good time, but I don't remember a thing about them. In fact, the best part about the Lindsay Ellis videos was watching reviews and going "Oh wait, yeah that did happen didn't it."
I remember someone pulling the fire alarm and having to evacuate the theater during the climax. My parents and I decided we didn't have to finish it.
I would like to hear more from Blahaj users, because for the most part, this thread has been listening to NSFW complain about the defedding, and expressing outrage, speculation and judgement about the defedding, from users who are ultimately unaffected by this defedding. I want to know if this is something their users agree with or not, from the users themselves.
Also, Blahaj isn't the only major instance to defed NSFW, but because of the nature of their sub, they seem to get the most attention over it.
