Fucking magnets, how do they work?

AD4K is walking home from work, and then realizing you rode your bike there this morning and have to go back and get it.
From what I've seen from experimenting, the only accounts that seem to have weight on each other on lemmy are my lemmy and kbin accounts. There is definitely room for abuse if I were to make many lemmy accounts accross different instances, which I have seen people abuse, especially on lemmy's version of r/place.
I get maybe 2 upvotes at most, and even then I don't usually upvote my own content because it's unsatisfactory. Upvotes tell me people are engaging with my content and like what they see. It does me no good if I know it's just me. The only time I've ever upvoted my own content is on very small communities where no one on would ever see the content otherwise.
I try to be ethical with my interactions with fediverse, but I definitely see the room for abuse.
Star Trek Next Gen, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager are my go to bidges. Sometimes I just have them on as background because I've seen them so many times.
The Pokemon anime is a reliable watch for me when I'm feeling nostalgic. Also great for practicing my Japanese listening skills on Netflix Japan.
Avatar the Last Airbender and Korra. Love the worlds these shows create, and I always seem to catch new details through each rewatch.
Steven Universe- On my second watch through, and am actually starting to prefer the slice of life episodes more than the first time around. God tier music.
We Bare Bears- Such a cute wholesome show. Definitely a great comfort show.
Monk, House, and Psych- There was a time where I just watched a lot of TBS, and these were my favorite shows from there. Sean and Guss from Psych is probably one of my favorite bromances from television.
Might add more if I think of anything else.
No arguments here.
Just started using it. First impressions, it's definitely feels more unique than mastodon, and has features its missing. Like there are reactions in addition to favoriting a post, and you can quote post. At this point, It kinda feel's like Mastodon's kbin.
Settle down Leopold.
rice balls and coffee. first class begins in 10 minutes.
hai, hanasemasu yo. ogenki desuka?
I like the UI because it doesn't remind me of reddit and details aren't as small as they are on most lemmy instances. I like the ability to turn off federation at will if I just want to check out kbin content, or manage what federated content I do see. I like the microblogs and the integration with mastodon. I like how there's no hard limit in the microblog, so I can use it as a twitlonger for my mastodon posts. I like that the creator seems to be an alright dude and doesn't hold any problematic views compared to the lemmy devs. I like being the kbin user in a sea of lemmings, makes me feel special.
I wish I didn't fear getting old back then. I felt old at 23, 25, and 28 and dreaded reaching my 30s. It made me feel it was too late to do things and made me settle for less way too many times.
I am in my early 30s now and no longer give a fuck. You are only as old as you think you are. I'm now trying to get started on things I wish I had done in my 20s, and hoping I reach my potential a decade from now.
I already registered, you don't have to sell it to me!
