Front Page Posting about youth calling everything insane and crazy.

Almost touching on youth repeating what adults are all saying, that things are indeed anti-reality crazy and unreal. Donald Trump as role model for over 10 years. Surkov information warfare, war against reality, since March 2013.

Chapter 19
The Kidnap Of Mass Mind: Fundamentalism, Spartanism, and the Games Subcultures Play
Howard Bloom
August 2000

"Today’s cyber-era Spartans are bone crushers of conformity. They are the fundamentalists of both the left and right. Some are godly; some are secular. Religious extremists, ultranationalists, ethnic liberationists, and fascists fall on the fundamentalist side of the line. Brooking no tolerance of those who disagree, they invoke a golden past and a higher power, both of which demand submission to authority. The worst shoot, burn, and bomb to get their way. Their opposites are Athenian, Socratic, Aristotelian, diversity-generating, pluralistic, and democratic. They pay lip service, and often a good deal more, to such slogans as “I may disagree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” The groups which follow this pattern are more diffuse than their rivals; in fact, the right to be loose-knit is part of their philosophy. They include liberals, democratic socialists, libertarians, and many free-market capitalists. These champions of human rights use the word “freedom” to liberate the individual, not to hammer home the triumph of a chosen collectivity.

The Athenian strategy moves to the top when things are going well. Spartanism grabs the throne when the world is going to hell."

President Donald Trump posted a video of himself hitting Bruce Springsteen with a golf ball amid his ongoing feud with the singer.

"je faisais l'expérience sur elle de mon dessin numéro 1 que j'ai toujours conservé. Je voulais savoir si elle était vraiment compréhensive. Mais toujours elle me répondait: "C'est un chapeau." Alors je ne lui parlais ni de serpents boas, ni de forêts vierges, ni d'étoiles. Je me mettais à sa portée. Je lui parlais de bridge, de golf, de politique et de cravates. Et la grande personne était bien contente de connaître un homme aussi raisonnable."

“Fox News was a new form of political campaign—one that enables the GOP to bypass skeptical reporters and wage an around-the-clock, partisan assault on public opinion. The network, at its core, is a giant soundstage created to mimic the look and feel of a news operation, cleverly camouflaging political propaganda as independent journalism (Dickinson, 2011).” ― Bandy X. More faith in mocking. Same as MAGA, faith in mockery.

Nobody can describe this as Surkov / Surkovian governing. Sustained focus on Peter Pomerantsev’s writings from 2014, Russian information warfare always absent in these discussions.

Promoting the idea that laws do not matter, normalizing the MAGA Trumpism movement at every turn. Using sarcasm and absurd comedy, just like the White House + Kremlin, joining in with the Surkov techniques of total mockery.

Repeating:

  1. April 3, 2015 Bill Gates gave a Ted Talk about how USA was unprepared for a pandemic. People even in 2025 do not admit mistakes and say "Bill Gates was correct".

  2. We are more anti-science and pro-disease in 2025 than we were in 2019.

Denial abounds, silence on serious topics.

Carl Sagan already witnessed this trend and made a public notice to We The People on January 8, 1994 - and published a book in 1995.

Twitter-thinking took over USA nation mindsets, Russian information warfare embraced and welcomed, since March 2013.

Fake Donald Trump content. casting Donald Trump as hilarious and funny, source of entertainment and amusement. Reddit society does not remove Donald Trump because he is so charming, his absurd surreal antics and unique skin color and communication are a constant source of mocking and insult shit-talk, the ultimate content creator for Reddit.

Nobody can describe this as Surkov / Surkovian governing. Sustained focus on Peter Pomerantsev’s writings from 2014, Russian information warfare always absent in these discussions. Simulacra. Reddit community is not self-aware, Reddit society is in meme stupor of self-dehumanization, unable to declare we are living under Infinite Jest mental exploits, that the very means of Kremlin + White House power is brain exploits described by David Foster Wallace and weaponized by Surkov students.

Downcasting Elon Musk as only an adventure. That Elon Musk isn't front-man for multiple Conservative International 2013 party plans on gender and fallen into Surkov / Surkovian information warfare. That Twitter / X wasn't the front of Russian information warfare / mass mind manipulation.

Reddit community consistently avoids taking seriously what Elon Musk says about billionaires; they actively manipulate mind virus.

I personally used to work for 2 of the 3 richest people on the planet as a media systems analyst and consultant. Elon Musk knows exactly what he is doing with electric media systems, he has learned from hands-on experience how people in USA will sell their soul for light-speed mockery. Mind virus is very real, John 1:1 and Tower of Babel metaphor.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is not the cause
Donald J Trump is not the cause

In many ways, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Donald J Trump have things in common. Both are well traveled people who listen and function to articulate what they witness.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. expresses the reality of the damaging and corrosive impact of hate upon the world. How non-fun and unenjoyable life is when hate is both prized and not left behind in history.

Donald J Trump is describing the life of a rich person, a celebrity, a super star. Rupert Murdoch has influenced Donald Trump. Wealth and power. Any of us can see what Fox News is saying, what Twitter is saying to Donald Trump - hist first term in office everyday people openly remarked that he was live Twittering Fox News. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/01/05/trump-media-feedback-loop-216248/

Are we facing up to what sports teams owners and media networks see?

Do everyday people truly want sports stars with armies of medical doctors and dietitians creating super-human people running around a rectangle? Is FIFA popular all over the world in poor areas of Africa, to the poor in Mexico and South America? yes. Are parents in USA raising their children to admire sports stars paid $5 million a year and tossed-away when not good enough? yes. That's what poor people praise and desire.

Media networks see the demand for sports scores, rumors, trades, injuries, dirt, mistakes on and off the rectangle.

Wealth lords view themselves as sports players that were born with talent or genetics and that people should flock to them like sports stars.

Do everyday people want a public space for every 25 families and watch neighbor children make friends and get exercise? Not very often. Once you remove the incentive of children playing to become super-rich stars of sports, there isn't much interest in friendships and physical exercise encouragement. Children are encouraged to aspire to the top, not to just deal with bodily functions and need for friendships. At least not in 2025.

Yes, this writing is a huge struggle.

What to Understand

  1. Donald Trump is the most obvious liar and egomaniac since year 2013. It is blatant, it is obvious, it is clear as day, it is documented.

  2. Understanding the Problem Assertion 1: The problem is not Donald Trump. One liar "Big Shot" who plays golf and spends time with his family retired in Florida on the golf course and goes and hangs out with his buddies is nothing special for a man age 70 and older.

  3. Understanding the Problem Assertion 2: The problem is We The People, the population of society. "MASS PSYCHOSIS - How an Entire Population Becomes MENTALLY ILL"

  4. How did this happen? Assertion 3: A 1985 book by Neil Postman, Manhattan / New York University Professor (Donald Trump's Home Town) predicted all this for America's future. On February 2, 2017 his son Andrew Postman confirmed that Donald Trump was what his father's book was ultimately about.

  5. Understanding the Problem Assertion 4: The Theory of SOCIETAL STUPIDITY by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Nazi Germany mass conformity / collective blindness

Introduction to My City of Ruins

There’s some very weird, strange and dangerous shit going on out there right now. In America, they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent. This is happening now.

In America, the richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death. This is happening now.

In my country, they’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers.

They’re rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society.

They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom. They are defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands.

"no matter how absurd, and did not particularly object to being deceived because it held every statement to be a lie anyhow. The totalitarian mass leaders based their propaganda on the correct psychological assumption that, under such conditions, one could make people believe the most fantastic statements one day, and trust that if the next day they were given irrefutable proof of their falsehood, they would take refuge in cynicism; instead of deserting the leaders who had lied to them, they would protest that they had known all along that the statement was a lie and would admire the leaders for their superior tactical cleverness.” ― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism, 1951

“And the new Kremlin won’t make the same mistake the old Soviet Union did: it will never let TV become dull. The task is to synthesize Soviet control with Western entertainment.” ― Peter Pomerantsev, Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible: The Surreal Heart of the New Russia, 2014

“In America, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and it is certainly useful to have a few when a pollster shows up. But these are opinions of a quite different roder from eighteenth- or nineteenth-century opinions. It is probably more accurate to call them emotions rather than opinions, which would account for the fact that they change from week to week, as the pollsters tell us. What is happening here is that television is altering the meaning of 'being informed' by creating a species of information that might properly be called disinformation. I am using this world almost in the precise sense in which it is used by spies in the CIA or KGB. Disinformation does not mean false information. It means misleading information--misplace, irrelevant, fragmented or superficial information--information that creates the illusion of knowing something but which in fact leads one away from knowing. In saying this, I do not mean to imply that television news deliberately aims to deprive Americans of a coherent, contextual understanding of their world. I mean to say that when news is packaged as entertainment, that is the inevitable result. And in saying that the television news show entertains but does not inform, I am saying something far more serious than that we are being deprived of authentic information. I am saying we are losing our sense of what it means to be well informed. Ignorance is always correctable. But what shall we do if we take ignorance to be knowledge?” ― Neil Postman, Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business, 1985

"we are losing our sense of what it means to be well informed. Ignorance is always correctable. But what shall we do if we take ignorance to be knowledge?” - 1985 - that came November 6, 2012 when Twitter interpretation of the world was taken as knowledge. Tweeting-thinking, Twitter-length ideas and concepts.

November 6, 2012 is when Twitter-thinking took over, 10 seconds or less Tweeting-thinking - taking ignorance as knowledge. Memes as comprehension. Twitter-values nation was announced November 6, 2012. Mob mentality around Twitter-thinking founded.

“Science is more than a body of knowledge; it is a way of thinking. I have a foreboding of an America in my children’s or grandchildren’s time—when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness. The dumbing down of America is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30-second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance. As I write, the number-one videocassette rental in America is the movie Dumb and Dumber. “Beavis and Butthead” remain popular (and influential) with young TV viewers. The plain lesson is that study and learning—not just of science, but of anything—are avoidable, even undesirable.” ― Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark, 1995

"enormously influential media, the 30-second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming" -- Twitter thinking described in 1995 by Carl Sagan, was announced November 6, 2012 by Donald J Trump on Twitter - misunderstandings and comprehension failures

"A ceaseless shape-shifting that is unstoppable because it is undefinable. It is exactly what Surkov is alleged to have done in the Ukraine this year. In typical fashion, as the war began, Surkov published a short story about something he called non-linear war. A war where you never know what the enemy are really up to, or even who they are. The underlying aim, Surkov says, is not to win the war, but to use the conflict to create a constant state of destabilized perception, in order to manage and control." - BBC, Adam Curtis, December 31, 2014 - more than a decade ago.

"Russia warned Kyiv of ‘endless war’ at Turkey peace talks, Ukrainian official says"
Sunday May 18, 2025

"Russian delegates at peace talks in Turkey told Ukrainian negotiators that Moscow is prepared to “fight forever” unless Kyiv agrees to its conditions for ending the three-year war, a Ukrainian official involved in the talks has said."

"First Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya, who was part of the Ukrainian delegation, said on Saturday that Russian officials threatened to carry on the war indefinitely unless Ukraine concedes to Moscow’s demands."

https://tvpworld.com/86773208/russia-warned-kyiv-of-endless-war-at-turkey-peace-talks-ukrainian-official-says

"As we’ve looked at, humanity is a pivotal moment. We have now amassed such great technological power that we risk our own long-term survival. Alongside this power we still subscribe to an economic system that has us exploiting and polluting our planet. This pivotal moment is made more precarious still, by a different kind of pollution. Not of our environment, but of our public discourse. Just as our ecology is under threat, so too is truth and our ability to communicate."

"Truth is becoming harder to grasp, trust is becoming harder to establish, and tribalism and hostility are rife. Nothing is true and everything is possible. So, when you think about it, as humans we only really have two tools at our disposal. We have conversation and we have violence. And that’s it. Communication is all that stands between us and complete societal breakdown."
