Ukraine has only systematically targeted Russian oil infrastructure for less than a year. So that is one variable which has changed.

They never believed in any of that. They pretended to because that is what they felt was necessary in order to keep their grift going, but Trump has shown them that they don't have to pretend anymore. They can openly grift and their voters will love them for it.

Yeah, that is what I have decided to do. Not least just to test how compatible my hardware is. I may need a new GPU since my current one is nvidia, but as far as I understand it, it may still be able to run.

A new government is not just going to magically appear. The current one (and by that is meant the entire GOP) is not going to leave voluntarily, and they are certainly not going to let you have a fair election about that.

So the dust will settle once this current regime has been forcefully ousted, not before. So talking about "after" is a bit premature, the talk should be about what to be done to get rid of them in first place.
