Pretty worth it if the interception saves even one life, imo. And as I recall, the iron dome is programmed to anticipate where the missile will hit, and if it’s landing in the middle of nowhere it just lets it go. Saves on interceptors.

I don’t think it was ever claimed that the iron dome is 100% effective? Plus it was designed to intercept Hamas rockets, less so actual missiles.
Pardon me, I’m a cis dude who loves all the books I have in my apartment. No cats though unfortunately
For me, it’s light mode for work and dark mode at home.
Total eclipses aren’t rare, but them being in an accessible location and not just over some random place in the ocean is. I looked this up the other day, and any one particular location on Earth will see a total eclipse once every 350 years or so.
Glancing at the eclipse while it’s in totality is not going to give you permanent damage. Now if you stare at it until totality is over and the sun is on full blast again…
The extract defense missions have always been brutal
I’d love fighting in a more urban environment.
I want to see the automatons come back riding the bigger bugs as mounts
At the end of the day, a human still has to approve what it’s posting. Not to mention that said humans can also direct it down a particular path. And in this case they are intentionally directing it to post about stupid conspiracy theories to rile up the right wing conspiracy nutters.
There is a world of difference between getting a bike lane installed and getting the world superpowers to collectively stop polluting.
Also doesn’t help that a lot of houses in the US are just really old and still have their original fossil fuel based heating.
