I checked it out when you posted it before and I'm so glad the site exists. I would very much encourage everyone to use it and the services and products listed.
Yeah, I'm suprised it's picking up so much steam. I am also participating, but I don't really have money so I probably wouldn't be buying anything anyway.
Funny thing about this, the message that was being forwarded about this suggested buying groceries the day before, which would kinda defeat the purpose of the boycott.
Unpopular opinion, but I don't really mind them, for now. They are not that imposing and I like to see the other viewpoint occasionaly, as I don't use other social networks. Makes me feel like I'm in less of a bubble here.

I watched it back in 2011 and couldn't really remember it so I watched it again few days ago. It really is an interesting movie, mostly because of it's alternative take on a world with vampires, but also because of the great worldbuilding. It is well acted and solidly directed, but the story and characters have some shallow development. It is still a good movie. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in vampires.
Why would you comment in this thread? It increases visibility of the video and gets it seen by more people.

I'm a little hyped about it. I really enjoyed the first season. I'm afraid second season is going to be a slower one with too much filler, but I'll probably enjoy it as well.

I would describe myself as a libertarian socialist, and this is first I read about it anywhere.
However, this article is very scarce. It seems to me to describe socialism in general.
Sorry, I meant they are not imposing here, on Lemmy. They are a minilority that often gets downvoted.
Also I try to not look at the US. It's always extreme, like watching a bad reality show.
