This just isn't a thing. Most of the time when the news is sensationalizing subway crime and show pictures of people who are captured on CCTV aren't wearing masks. This is more about creating the illusion that things are "normal". In a state that has cut funding to health care over the past two decades leading to the closure of hospitals, including right in the middle of a pandemic. If the bird flu breaks out into a full blown pandemic New York is going to be so fucked.

Honestly never really thought of it. I've used public transit my entire life and occasionally ride bikes.
When I was a kid I always dreamed of having a car, but the older I got and more I dealt with cars as a pedestrian (including being struck by one in a low velocity collision), the more I grew to dislike them in a city environment.
Then I always hear what a pain in the ass it can be to own one and that more or less solidified my car-free life.
As for bikes specifically, I usually rent out a bike when the weather is nice. I've been doing a lot of walking/running this year so I haven't ridden as much as I have in recent years but I'll probably get back to it later this summer.

I got the base game at launch and took about a moth to beat it. Didn't start a NG+ so I may be able to use my original character, but I also created a new one just in case. Haven't really played much though so I'm probably not going to be ready for SotE when it launches.
