Damn that's gonna be slow.

But I guess speed was not a criterion.

With how popular they've been for years, I'd be honestly surprised if they hadn't enshittified. Reddit got a hard on for them like ten years ago.

You guys have houses?

Go on Amazon and search for a "outdoors phone". I have one that is about that size and weighs a lot, but I can go a week between charges easily. I can play games with my headphones for 8 hours straight without needing to charge.

But ... The battery is not replaceable.

It takes 30 days to detox from weed entirely. So a month is the minimum, personally I've found I don't start noticing improvement until I've been sober for about three months, because sleep gets messed up for longer than it takes to detox. You have to go all the way through the withdrawal symptoms until you're sleeping healthily again, then you'll start to notice improvements in life. Small, incremental improvements.

You're welcome! You can chalk this up to your first new learning experience.

The comment I replied to implied that if people in Montreal can do it, why can't I? I was merely addressing the implied accusation.

Besides, if you want a champion the guy making $40k/year isn't it.

The billionaires got a lot of money to spend on transit and infrastructure and densification, but everytime this shit comes up somehow the guy who barely clears the fuckin poverty line is the one who has be a champion.

And then remember that every single one of those kids represents up to several thousand dollars in revenue per month. Each.

Cool, what about those who don't live within biking distance?

My work is 37 km of rural highway from my house. I biked it once years ago, took me 1h45m one way. Not a reasonable option.

Ah, so it's the "get a better job" take, is it?

If every grocery worker in town gets a better job, who is going to stock the shelves? When the stores close because they have no staff, where are YOU going to get you groceries from?

You NEED grocery workers. The economy NEEDS grocery workers. So they deserve to be paid well.
