Is the flying squad going to kick down my door if I use 12345 as a password?
a UK government source said the UK “won’t accept any asylum returns from the EU via Ireland until the EU accepts that we can send them back to France.”
I mean, that's hard to argue with, really.
That was six years ago, they've significantly enshittified since then.
You want boots with replaceable footbeds, I personally recommend altberg https://www.altberg.co.uk
There's loads of orthotic footbeds you can buy, the superfeet green is what I use, but I don't have flat feet. Since they're replaceable you try a few different ones, I think you can even get custom ones on prescription.
These seem to be mostly websites for small city/district councils, who have never had huge budgets, and their budgets have been cut by the current central government.
My guess is either:
- Someone thought it was a quick way to add a few quid to the budget
- They were offered a discount by the contractor who runs their website if they allowed ads
- Some dodgy contractor inserted the ads without telling the council, because they thought nobody would notice, and they're owned by a councillor's nephew.

various advertising exchanges and resellers ranging from Google (like what El Reg uses) to one in China.
Do they think google hasn't been involved in privacy controversies?

I've considered doing something similar myself, honestly it would come down to which one has the best libraries/frameworks for it.
Possibly so they don't have to pay night shift more?
No, it's proper thermal, like predator vision, just doesn't let you see through walls unfortunately.
Night vision security cameras use near IR, thermal is long wave IR.
