Of course the government's answer is to try and ban it, rather than solve the underlying cause of people wanting to use it in the first place.

This isn't anything new, it's been happening since the days of usenet being popular.

Didn't they remove XUL extensions to make their extension interface compatible with inferior chrome web extensions?

Looks like it has some issues when used with sponsorblock https://github.com/Andrews54757/FastStream/issues/16

A federated ebay\vinted\amazon alternative sounds like a great idea, but I saw this on their repository.

A flohmarkt can manually federate with other flohmarkts in its range

If I'm reading this correctly, there's no automatic federation between instances, which will make item discovery difficult.

Didn't krita say the same thing at one time?

It's currently one of the best programs to generate AI art using self hosted models.

Burgers (at least supermarket ones) are made from offcuts and other bits that can't be sold as expensive cuts of meat, so are essentially a byproduct. Pretty much the same for milk. Vegan products usually have to bear the entire cost of production in their price.

The film Threads is also relevant.

Short answer: the end of the world.

The resultant nuclear war would kill a good portion of Earth's population, but it's likely far more would die from the chaos of civilisation being instantly forced back to the iron age by the EMP frying every silicon transistor.
