I lost my dad shortly after I got back in contact with him, and not trying to make up with him sooner is one of my greatest regrets. Obviously your situation may be different but it's probably worth giving him a second chance.

The price is exactly why I went with a used v750 myself, it works well for scanning film.

I did it over 15 years ago, but for health information before the FDA nuked that. (Although you can still run the raw data through a third party program)

I'm pretty sure I already uploaded myself to at least one open source database, so I don't see any reason to worry that much.

Living in a privately rented home is linked to more rapid biological ageing, according to researchers who tested DNA and found the tenure is associated with twice the ageing effect of obesity and half that of smoking.

The peer-reviewed study of 1,420 UK householders found housing circumstances can “get under the skin” with significant consequences for health, said academics at the University of Essex and the University of Adelaide . Their findings were published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.
