You can get the seller to declare it as a gift and put a low value on it.

There's also reshipping services that let you do that, or at least there used to be, it's been a few years since I used one.

My understanding is by medical standards, the evidence is pretty low quality, which is why GnRH agonists aren't approved by the EMA, MHRA, FDA, or NICE for gender dysphoria.

It highlights a wider issue in medicine though, the obsession with randomised controlled trials, which is basically the only evidence the GRADE method considers "high quality". We are seeing exactly the same problem with MDMA assisted therapy, any therapy where blinding is difficult is dismissed by the medical establishment. NICE dismissed (es)ketamine for depression for the same reason. Add to that the fact that GnRH agonists are off patent, so there's no incentive for industry to fund studies.

The whole thing has implanted into the mind of any wordpress user paying attention they should start thinking about alternatives.

They used sealed bids, that's okay when the value of something is known, but for a "one of a kind" conspiracy theory website that doesn't seem like the best method to me.

A complicating factor here is that the Sandy Hook families (who as far as I know are the large majority of the creditors) also supported the sale.

I assume there are other creditors who didn't?

except for use in clinical trials

Kodak made a lot of attempts to move people to smaller film sizes, so they could sell less film for the same price. They made claims that their advances in film technology made the photos the same resolution as you would previously get in 35mm, which was sort of true, but that meant you could just stick with 35mm and get better resolution photos.

Ironically the only one that kind of worked was APS, it wasn't that successful as a film format, but it was responsible for the APS digital sensor size.

amazingly those four-decade-old lithium batteries still have enough power to run them

I had exactly the same experience with one I acquired in a lot of cameras, it's pretty impressive.

I'm not sure even Cavill can stop it getting the rings of power treatment.

Especially considering Starmer only won with 30% of the vote because Farage split the conservative vote.

I'd be surprised if they didn't sort that somehow by the next election.

bloc is on brink of collapse

Oh dear, how sad, nevermind.

No seriously, why would we want to join a collapsing institution? "Buy this house, it's about to fall on your head" great argument Cleggy boy.

‘Tis the season to celebrate our loved ones, and also for employers to show how much they care.

Whether by throwing a Christmas bash or handing out extra cash, businesses around the world are broadly expected to offer their dedicated staff a festive token of their appreciation.

And who deserves more recognition than the workers who keep our healthcare systems afloat?

Yet, the senior management team at one hospital apparently decided that rather than boost their staff’s pay or treat them to a slap-up meal, they would provide them with…

Potatoes.

The questionable move was broadcast to social media by an X/Twitter user who calls herself Amanda B.

She explained dejectedly: “My work is doing a potato bar as our Christmas bonus. I’m literally getting a hospital potato as a bonus.”

She then added: “They also said it has a $15 (£11.85) value so it will be taxed on our next check. Does anyone need an assistant so I can just quit right now?”
