Camera or projector lens, probably of petzval type.

Edit: the lack of an iris or slot for waterhouse stops makes me think projector lens.

investment decisions were not really taking place in the BVI. Instead, one of Abramovich’s closest associates appears to have been controlling the companies from the UK.

I always assumed that's how all BVI companies worked.

The only half reasonable argument I've seen is that requiring pasteurisation (supposedly) makes it difficult for small dairy farms that want to sell direct to consumer, and forces them to sell to large milk companies for a far lower price. I have no idea how valid that argument is.

The funniest thing is some influencers are recommending people boil their raw milk before drinking it...

I've never seen a (modern) marvel movie, despite being a fan of the comics and cartoons as a kid.

I've never seen a harry potter film.

Inference? It's the actual running of the ai when you use it, as opposed to training.

Imagine being relieved to know you don't have to fly on a Boeing, only to find out you're going to be flying on a SpaceX

DeepSeek: "no u"

According to sources cited in the Guardian, Sir Keir is expected to make a pledge to “recognise Palestine before the end of any peace process.”

They also claimed he would commit to ensuring such a move is not vetoed by neighbouring countries.

But Momentum slammed it as a weakening of Labour’s previous commitments.

A spokesperson said: “The manifesto Starmer stood on pledged to recognise a Palestinian state immediately. Labour reiterated this in 2022.

“Now, it’s just ‘at some point’ — this is not good enough.

“Spain, Ireland and other countries have already recognised a Palestinian state. But the Starmer leadership rows back on Labour’s policy, then gaslights Palestinians and their supporters that they have somehow advanced.”

Jewish Voice for Labour co-chairwoman Jenny Manson said: “An offer to recognise Palestinian statehood before the end of any peace process, is at the current time, with absolutely no prospect of a peace process, a non-commitment."

16α-hydroxyestriol was the star of this study, producing a 15% increase in median lifespan in male mice. However, it lowered median lifespan in females by 7%. While many drugs affect lifespan sex-specifically, opposing effects are rare; in fact, this is the first case in ITP’s history. Interestingly, we have another example from the same study: canagliflozin, when started at 16 months of age, led to a 14% increase in median lifespan in males and a 6% decline in females. In a previous ITP study, when started at 6 months, canagliflozin increased male lifespan without affecting female lifespan. All other tested drugs did not have a statistically significant effect on lifespan in either sex.
