Absolutely. Possibly moreso.

You'll probably have to eat it any way, because of the famine.

Yes, but then it's a bit hypocritical if we don't point out when something isn't globally-relevant just because it's Britain-relevant.

Is there any movement to try and force an election? We're all just sitting here, letting these arseholes continue to fuck up the country.

The point of the article isn't that 'news:war sucks' it's that it's a first-hand experience of the frontline over the Dnipro, which slightly contrasts the feeling given by official Ukrainian government statements.

Very Britain-centric news; I wish c/worldnews were more specifically global relevant.

As for the article, it's a shame it doesn't address all of the 10 pledges and whether or not they're being honoured in current Labour policy.

It also doesn't do a very good job of analysing the pledges that it does include. Regarding income tax - is current Labour policy to not increase income tax on highest earners (or preferably, CGT/land value tax or something that more effectively targets the most wealthy)? The way the article quoted Reeves kind of felt a bit word twisty, but I'm not sure whether that was accidental or deliberate.

I'd swap the flashlight for the body armour - easier to find a flashlight out and about.

I live in a cloud, now. (West Midlands, it's only mild fog.)

Gunna have to experiment with this, however my PC is set up next to our sofa so the distances might not work out.

It's a long string of Tory failures that they enacted pretty much only so they could keep their hands on power.

Cameron > made the referendum part of the 2015 manifesto to stop UKIP splitting the Tory vote.

May > enacted Article 50 to stop the totally-not-UKIP/disaster capitalists from paralysing the party

Johnson > made 'oven ready shit ~~biscuit~~ Brexit' part of the 2019 manifesto so he could whip his party of YesMen into doing whatever the fuck he liked.

Makes me so so angry.
