Fair. I guess I just mean he won with less than 20% of registered voters so it's difficult for us to know if it's a fluke since dems did not come out to vote

It doesn't help that it was a shitty election cycle. People didn't vote and are in shock that the republican won where turnout was 36% of registered voters because people assumed the jungle primary would cause a dem and repub to move forward when in fact, of that 36%, Landry won outright with 51%.

Im not saying he wouldn't have won anyways, but it would have been much closer if people would actually vote.

Honestly not sure how easy it is to actually stay out of the military when there's compelled service in any country. Draft evasion often carries significant risk.

I appreciate the sentiment, but results will vary.

At this point, if you don't support the genocide and forceful taking of land in Gaza, you're antisemitic.

I want to believe you but living in a deep red state, all I have is anecdotal evidence that there's still enough that seemingly unconditionally support him

He still has 100s of millions supporters. That's the part that scares me.

I agree. But if I was the prosecutor, I would be doing my best to make sure everything is rock solid. Even then, it might not be enough.

I really really want to believe people are over Trump, but somehow so many are hook, line and sinker.

I think the concern is inciting retaliatory violence.

At this point the bigger issue is that the US seems to support what appears to be an ongoing genocide.

Really the fines should completely erode any profit. I.e. Businesses can't afford to not do the right thing.

At minimum she needs to be investigated.

I wouldn't put it past her.
