Maybe the name of the community should be "No Questions", since anything can be searched for.

Some people are concerned about the way the question is worded, but assuming you got a legit PC that is free to use as you wish, you should be able to do a full wipe of the drive wit a new install of Linux and be fine, since the Windows part will be gone. Data could still be there unless you rewrite over with random data (some partitioners with installers offer to do that, but it takes a while). As for which Linux, it depends on how old and the hardware capability. You might need to use one of the "light" versions that is designed for older hardware and less memory. But just about anything is doable to some degree. A few years ago I put a Lubuntu version on an old Netbook with very limited hard drive space and processing power, and it runs fine for basic applications. Not going to be doing power number crunching or gaming on it, but that's fine.
As far as how, the basic idea these days is to create a USB flash drive with an installer on it for the Linux version you want, and boot up to run that USB instead of the drive. Then just follow the instructions. Maybe before that look up some videos on a few examples, but it's no harder than if you installed Windows on a drive for the first time.
Would anything be able to stay and do anything if the whole partition is rewritten? The one thing I'd be suspicious of depending on where it came from is the BIOS level, but even that can be flashed to a stock version, if you know the original board manufacturer.
Both of those can happen long before 97.
Next question, was the mass slave image created to help push the biblical idea of an oppressed society saved by their deity?
One was created to transmit ideas, the other to transmit value. Very related. Both can be abused by those in power.
I'd first like an investigation for security breaches he did years ago.
Simple defense: "I wasn't encouraging anything, I was just informing them."
The biggest problems I see are the time left alone and being a single cat. This situation would work fine if you had already established a long relationship and you knew their behaviors, but a new cat, even an adult one, needs to bond with its new human companion, and a few days here and there isn't going to do it well. Then there's behavior, you don't know any of its history and how it might do in your home alone. It could be totally fine, or it could get scared/mad/bored and start tearing up things or even hurt itself. Which leads to the next point, while some cats can be solitary, most do like another companion to play with (can be a dog, sometimes they pair well, but usually cats) so they don't get bored.
I think the problem for you isn't if a cat would work, but finding the right cat, and unfortunately you can't know how they will do thrown into that without time to help them adjust.
Oh, yeah. You're right. They were concerned more with securing his boat first than pulling him out of the water, and then once aboard their boat didn't even tell him why he was being detained. That's much better.
Not a huge pepper fan, but maybe a dash. Salt depends on where the tomato was grown. My grandfather used to grow his by salt water, and they were perfect off the vine. Importantly, fresh tomato also implies fresh grown and not like most of what you find in the grocery store.
People using a word without paying attention to or understanding its meaning is not a new phase from LLM usage. The first thing that came to mind is the regional use of "could care less". There's plenty more, and they easily predate even the internet. I do agree that widespread use of LLMs can certainly inject word use that might be new to some people and show a spike overall, but remember that LLMs are trained on word use frequency from human writing. That and language is constantly evolving, so any stimulus is going to affect what direction it takes.
