And the problem with Mastodon was that the official app in the appstore was a absolute poorly designed lackluster that didn't even support lists. Most people don't look for third party apps.
Lemmy seems fine so far as alternative. You get enough recognition and responses, compared to a newly created Mastodon account.
a general TTRPG community instead of visiting dndmemes would be great. Just needs a good name that is easy to find.
