Lemmy is open source. Worst case is people fork it and the community has to pay the new developers. But I don't think it will come to this. Now that the project is rolling I doubt that the devs will risk it. But wouldn't hurt to donate maybe a extra buck, if you already help your server instance, to finance another independent full time contributor.

Na ja, kommt darauf an. Gerade eben eine neu gegründete Community entdeckt für Tabletop Miniaturen und direkt erstmal jemanden Bescheid gegeben, der schon öfter seine bemalten Warhammer Figuren auf !gaming@beehaw.org gepostet hat. Ziemliche Nische. Ich denke, es wird Zeit brauchen. Spricht ja auch nichts dagegen, Reddit und Lemmy gleichzeitig zu benutzen. Soviel Multitasking sollte jeder können. 😉
I only play LoR causally but why not? As long as it not becomes a complete min-max meta community 🙂
Naja. Letztens hat jemand auf /de behauptet, das die großen subs hauptsächlich am PC mit old.reddit moderiert werden. War wohl selbst länger Moderator in mehreren subs. Ob es stimmt kann ich natürlich nicht sagen.

Gleiche hier und teilweise auch das ich nichts posten konnte (Warteschleife) auf feddit, aber in anderen Instanzen. Könnte es einfach sein das der Server langsam an seine Belastungsgrenze kommt?
It works nicley for me but a lot of stuff could need QoL updates. Honestly my biggest concern is that this instance (lemmy.ml) will dominate everything else and host every good Community. From what I heard, the old guard on lemmy.ml has certain political believes that I don't share and I have a lot of negative expierence with this kind of people, back on reddit. A little concerned about powermods on lemmy.ml.
Don't look up walkthroughs until you're really stuck for a long time. Discovering stuff is a huge part of the game and part of the fun.
I agree. I will continue despising him for being a nutjob prepper, restoring the KiA sub after the founder deleted it (because even he saw it as a toxic shithole) and protecting the brigaders from t_D because "vAlUaBlE DiScUsSiOn".
