I'm on Feddit.de because it was recommended to me by join-lemmy.org and I like to have a server that has a German speaking Focus in the local feed.

Ich bin in einem eher konservativen Haushalt aufgewachsen und bei uns wurden Worte wie Arzt, Handwerker, Banker, Bäcker etc. immer genderneutral benutzt, mit den wenigen Ausnahmen, wo explizit Mann oder Frau, im Namen war (z. B. Kaufmann/frau). Die derzeitige * Lösung halte ich für schlecht durchdacht, aber im Endeffekt stört es mich nicht, wenn andere Menschen gendern wollen, solange es mir nicht aufgezwungen wird 🤷♂️.
Really interesting, not sure if it is 100% correct since I know a couple of Japanese people that actually really dislike this style but simply take it as "that's how it is 🤷♂️". Anyway, good video.
I agree that the all section with default active sorting feels a little to Reddit/Twitter. Things get already much better with sorting by hot or top.
One thing I wonder is, if people actually know how to use Lemmy subscriptions. Reddit used a algorithm to customize your frontpage and Lemmy doesn't have that. There is one single video on lemmy.world/c/videos with over 1k upvotes while the rest has only between 15 - 30. The difference? That one video ended up in the all section and enough people commented in it.
My local instance feed is pretty good and has almost no Reddit or Twitter stuff in it. Same goes for my subscription feed.
Aber eine provokante Überschrift bringt mehr Klicks. Und provozierte Menschen bringen mehr "Engagement" 😉
Logan Paul is such a piece of shit und I can't get over the fact that he has still fans that support/defend him.
