Maybe I’m misremembering, but didn’t pip have it’s own security concerns earlier this year?

I’m the US, the EPA was created in the 1970’s. We definitely have less pollution (of certain types) today than we did in the past. Some notable examples of how disgustingly polluted American skies and waterways were in the past:

The skies of Pittsburgh, PA

the Cuyahoga River fire

Coal Production has also been declining

And then of course less visible examples like the Montreal Protocol stopping corporations from depleting the ozone layer.

My point is in terms of greenhouse gas production we are much higher than in the 60’s and 70’s, but we have massively improved in a lot of areas. Of course there is still room to improve.

I get that this is a bit, but even in D&D charisma and attractiveness are different. Unless the elder brain is supposed to be sexy, then I need to rethink some things.

My point is looking at stack overflow to see what libraries are available is not copyright violation.

The number of code snippets that can be copied and pasted and fit your use-case exactly is almost 0. The number of those code snippets that are well written and would survive code review is even smaller. Stack overflow is good for getting an idea of what libraries exist. Good programmers use it for inspiration and move on to official docs from there (assuming they exist).

The threat of homelessness isn’t violence. It’s just business baby 😎👉

Not sure if it’s just me adjusting to using it, but I feel like it’s improved over the past several months.

I think they’re trying to say that less people would fly than currently drive due to the cost of flying. Although, if we subsidized personal planes at the same rate that we do personal vehicles I’m not entirely sure that flying would continue to be so expensive.

Voting is the absolute smallest political action anyone could ever take. Protest always has been and always will be more effective at moving the needle. Above all else these ghouls want to preserve capitalism. If it looks like the only way they preserve capitalism in the near term is capitulating to the demands of environmentalists then that is what will happen. Of course in the long term capitalists will attempt to erode these gains just like they have done with social safety nets in various countries for largely the same reasons (increased rate of profit).

For real. I thought I was Almost done with the game whenever I hit act 3. Oh how wrong I was.

Modern communists do recognize the failures of attempts at socialism. They recognize that those failures directly lead to Deng Xioaping and his friends taking control of China and destroying the socialist state. Simply because China declares itself communist does not make it so. I could declare myself the king of England do I suddenly get the throne just because I’ve claimed it? China, much like the USSR before it must declare itself communist due to the popularity that Mao has in the country. Unfortunately socialism died in China shortly after Mao. The “why did socialism fail” is exactly what communists study so that they can understand the pitfalls and try to move past them in the future.

This isn’t a case of gatekeeping. China has become exactly what it hated the Soviets for — social imperialists.
