Perhaps, though that was sent 10 years before he wrote his article on socialism, alot can happen in that time.

Also, regarding that letter, he seems to have written it not to promote building the bomb, but rather to emphasise precaution and 'watchfullness' in its inevitable development and subsequent use.

I dont know about you, but the only kind of communities in my country that even remotely resemble what you're trying to get at are nudist colonies.

Just going off into the woods and living on a cooperative commune simply isnt possible for most of us, and if it were, it would still be largely dependant on the capitalist economy it's trying to escape.

Nah, the US had already been engaging in global economic and militaristic imperialism for quite a while, including in the middle east.

A 9/11-like retaliation incident was inevitable at that point, regardless of who was at the helm. You'd have to change atleast a few decades, if not a century or two of foreign policy to avoid this outcome.

But yeah, fuck bush. Even if it was inevitable, he's still responsible.
