To be honest, it'd mostly be to have it on the shelf. I don't even have an optical disc drive in my current pc, I was just thinking, it'd be a neat way to support the cause while getting something to show for it. So I guess the version doesn't matter too much, I'd just prefer the language to not being German.

I'm not sure I would've admitted being so out of touch if I claimed to be a "news reporter".

Fuck nogle røvhuller. 158 tønder med lort.. Har de ikke hørt om en slamsuger?
Og denne her "undskyldning":

We came very far with Stedsans, but we also had to realise on the way that being soul-driven entrepreneurs on a mission in a country where taxes are some of the highest in the world and bureaucracy is relentless, it is an impossible task.

Alt imens de løb fra regningen. Hvordan de kunne køre en forretning i jorden som opkrævede op mod 10 tusind kroner per overnatning er mig en gåde.

You know, I was actually considering earlier this evening to buy https://en.opensuse.org/Buy_openSUSE but unfortunately there's only a German version of 15.3. Would be cool to have a physical version even if it was just for show. But hey, maybe they'll release a version for 15.5.

Although it's been half a year since I last played Minecraft, that was the route I went with as well. Fabulously Optimized is a great place to start as a base for making ones own custom modpack (with Prism Launcher of course).

I'm about to go through Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex again because of "the laughing man" storyline being kind of reminiscent of a certain CEO shooting that took place in December of 2024.
A shame there isn't better release quality of GitS:SAC available though, looks very washed out on 1440p and over.

Although the video they refer to in your link is about going faster in the direction of the wind, there is a cool explanation about tacking in it. Both great videos btw.

There's already one comorbidity mentioned here, depression, but obviously there's room for more like autism. If I had the skills I might've made a "slaps roof on car" meme version here, so you'll just have to use your imagination. (Tough sell for someone with aphantasia).

Gennemsnittet på 20.432 kroner ift. til Bjarne Reuters årlige udbetaling på 728.088 kroner er egentlig ret vild. Det betyder at der må være pænt mange som får under gennemsnittet.

This is the kind of silly design I was thinking of 25 years ago as I was cursing the headwind on the bikepath on my way home. Not the solar panel roof, but a straight up windmill mounted on my bike 😅.

Doesn't it generate too much drag to be of any use?

As a Dane myself, whenever I see someone claiming to be Danish with takes like this, I feel like investigating, and what a curious account indeed. The account is a little over 5 weeks old, yet they've posted so incredibly much I doubt that's their first account. They wrote in Danish a total of 6 times and it doesn't look machine translated, so I believe they're from Denmark, but I also found a post stating they "moved to Denmark", not sure where from though, but they post all over the place, like /r/ukpolitics, /r/norway, /r/newzealand, /r/auckland, /r/australia, /r/jordanpeterson, /r/conservative and /r/republican to mention parts of the spectrum.
Interesting person indeed, clearly right wing, but why would they move to Denmark of all places?

You can tell he hasn't watched a single episode of Star Trek if he doesn't even know about the prime directive.

Its stated aim is to protect unprepared civilizations from the danger of starship crews introducing advanced technology, knowledge, and values before they are ready.
