Been there a few times, none of those times did I get to explore the area but yeah it is amazing! Just remember you cannot take a right on a red, only place in North America where it is not legal.

Edit, fixed a direction.

I had fun with different JW’s there was one that tried to straighten me out but I do not think he survived 2020 because I have not had a JW come visit me since. I have a PRIDE flag in the window to keep others away!

I am a nihilist who has studied religion to get my BA. I have always wanted to see a street preacher to start asking the hard questions like: “why is your sky Daddy such an ass hole.”

I ran out of heads of my tooth brush, I saw the bamboo heads. I tried ordering them but something was wrong, don’t remember what exactly it just made me uncomfortable ordering them. I have no idea about the actual motor though.

I ended up getting a non electric one, I like minimizing my plastic use so I ended up getting one that has replaceable heads that you change every few months, I think they suggest 3 months but I am coming close to 6 now and the head is still firm and great. They are Canadian.

Do not get me wrong I miss my electric power but I am fine with a manual brush.

I really wish I could.

If you are in Saskatchewan there is Sasktel.

I do not think you are disagreeing with me. I know that there is little you can do to protect yourself for privacy. Privacy was a mirage of the late Twentieth century.

I use wireguard to get into my LAN so the cell network knows where my phone is at all times. I am doing my best to separate everything from Apple but I am forced to keep somethings to communicate with family.

Most of my IoT is separated into a vlan, I do not use any of the “smart” things on my TV. When I saw how much data it was sending when I first started using my pihole I reset it and made sure it was not connected to the internet. It bitched and complained until I figured out how to turn that feature off completely.

I use unbound as my DNS, and I have it look at cira privacy for its DNS. I am well aware that I am being followed and being sold but I damn near will try hard to hide.

I also live in a condo (advertisers do not like condos or rentals, I very briefly worked in the field), I have a no flyers sticker in my mailbox as I want to avoid the influence of those ads.

Because there are not enough crowns who do not have to answer to investors in the same way as say Sasktel does.

Hopefully the DST comes back next week!

In plain language, the ruling confirms that under international law, by which Canada is bound, countries are required to take more than voluntary action to address climate change. Major historic polluters like Canada are not just morally bound to cut emissions, but legally required to — or risk charges to compensate communities most harmed.

I love to hear this, and I love what the kiddos in Ontario are doing. I hope more people take steps like that!

Smith and Moe are really going to hate hearing this.

I know the beeble supports all this bs but really hate speech in a religious institution should really be a no no.

I own my own domain and use a separate email address for everything, this avoids spam and allows for some security.

I use a pihole setup, this blocks ads and trackers to avoid all the crap online and allows for some security.

I try to keep my VPN into my home working (it is currently not working), when it is working my cell phone activity is encrypted as it goes into my home network.

My ISP router is practically a dumb box that hosts a firewall, I want to setup another computer that will act as the firewall so that the ISP router is just the dumb box. Money is a factor in this!

I will check out Mulvad and see what is about.

*edit: I also use Vivaldi as my web browser, which provides some additional security. Wish there was more I could do about but the people I communicate with are not as into security as I am.

Looks like I need to take another look into encryption.

No poop he is not accurate with “facts!” When has that ever stopped Trump, he bankrupt a casino he owned! But now Moe is telling us to not try to ‘Stick it” to Trump, what I hear Moe saying is “would you like your Willy sucked before or after you stick it up my backside?” Moe needs to go and find a new job.

So I had a TV service I rarely used, I kept it just cause I did occasionally use it to watch sports or whatever that were not easily accessible online. I was not using it much but it was worked into my budget non the less, last night when I was thinking about how I consume TV shows; I first realized I was paying YouTube (I bought an annual subscription that ends at the end of March) to watch the monologue of some late night TV shows, I thought about it and realized the Google was paying those channels for me to watch some of the show so I am going to mark them to not be suggested to me via YouTube anymore and watch them via Canadian channel apps. I then thought about giving up on them all together, I do not know if I am ready to do that yet but I am seriously considering that whaat do others think?

Then finally I thought long and hard and realized I am paying for a TV service I rarely use, and it has US channels on it so I was paying to have access to US channels that I am not using or going to use so I cancelled my TV subscription.

As someone who very rarely watches traditional TV it feels so freeing knowing I am not paying a very small price to American stations to have access to their channels. I realize the Canadian stations pay to show the American shows but I sneakily get around that by having a pihole to block ads so the Canadian channels are not making money off of me to watch US TV shows, it is like sailing the high seas without the actual plundering.

Really a whole month, it is as if the Government does not take this trade war seriously or something. I am hoping that the Saskatchewan people take this into account once the Federal Election is called, Conservatives at their finest.
