While you're waiting on a kbin app, you should know the mobile site is entirely functional as a mobile app. Just make a shortcut for your home screen in c/kbinMeta@kbin.social

Mine was doing that and I realized my font size setting in Android setting was set one size bigger than the middle mark. I moved it one tick to the left and it all fits now.

I used redact.dev to bulk edit mine. I am waiting a few days to make sure they don't get changed back by reddit and then I am going to edit them one more time then delete them and my 13 year old account.

I doubt anyone remembers or knows of it but I used to run the Blackhole BBS in Maryland back in the 80's. in c/bbses@lemmy.dbzer0.com

I was just looking at some of the links in the sidebar and briefly thought about starting a BBS again but I have way to many other half finished projects to start a new one. If you do start one though make sure to share it and I'll check it out. I like the learning curve and the newness of this also. Makes my time spent here more worthwhile I think.

I may have something left from back then but I doubt it. My memory isn't that great anymore either. I hung onto the computer I ran the BBS on for a long time but with multiple moves and living on a boat for a couple of years I ended up trashing it along the way.

I made a request last weekend and never got an answer. Checking back today it say's I can't request again. Either they are way behind or they aren't giving out the info.

I got banned from r/news and talked down to by some mod shortly after editing all of my posts. The reason for the ban was protest bot. That took away any hard feelings I had about leaving reddit.

Banned from r/news for deleting a 10 year old comment with redact. Guess the mods there have no backbone. No big deal to me since I'm deleting my account soon but be aware. in c/reddit@lemmy.ml

That's fine with me I was deleting it on the 30th anyhow. Plus this should highlight the pathetic atmosphere over there for anyone who is on the fence about leaving.

That is what I was thinking earlier today when I edited 13 years worth of comments and deleted all of my posts. I figure they will make it impossible unless you are protected by GDPR or something similar.
