Kavita v0.7.8 Changelog Summary

Major Updates:

• New Filtering System: Kavita introduces a revamped filtering system, allowing users to create unique filters and combine statements. The system is designed to be flexible and expandable.
• OPDS Improvements: Enhancements to the OPDS implementations have been made, including better series descriptions and new feeds for "want to read". Kavita is also working on adding OPDS2 support.
• Localization Progress: Kavita is now fully translated into Korean, Chinese (Simplified), and almost entirely in Italian. Many other languages have over 80% of their strings translated.

• Click on a character tag from the Reading list to open a pre-filtered search.
• New sections in OPDS feeds for "Want to Read" series.
• Admins can change the cover image size with multiple size options.

So i just saw the post here about harmonoid. Very good looking app, but it's only for a local music library.

I have mounted the iscsi disk that i also use for my plex library so i could just use harmonoid to play my plex music.

But that's not what i want. I want to be able to use the playlists i make on plex, use the files for which i made custom metadata etc.

I know the plexamp app is available on linux. But i see that it's basically just the android app ported to linux and the whole UI is absolute garbage for a desktop imho.

So does someone know a good open-source desktop music player that syncs with my plex library and playlists? I really like symfonium on my android phone for it's customizations but it's not available on linux...but something like that? Or something like harmonoid but with plex support?

I currently use an OnePlus 9 Pro and want to switch to LineageOS.

I dont use banking apps and don't use Netflix or whatever.

The only thing holding me back is android auto. I searched various forums and posts and got a bunch of mixed results.

Can someone give me the current status on android auto with lineageos? Does it work, if yes, is it easy to install and use?

So we know that the parasite leaves the host if the host dies. We see this at multiple instances.

Now every character starts with a Scroll of Revivify. Why can't we just kill the characters, wait for the parasite to crawl out and revive them directly after?

I know of course this would stop the game to progress and the whole plot would stop to work... but this little plothole annoys me in a funny way :-D

Everyone here is talking about how to get the latest and best stuff, but no one is talking about how they actually manage it 😜

The 3DS Modders of you might know this page aswell as myrient is the backbone of hShop. But to all the others, enjoy this wonderful fileserver!

It contains nearly every ROM i searched for. The newer consoles are not on it (Switch, PS4, etc.) but all the retro consoles, heck even up to the 3DS, is all there.

You can connect to it via FTP, Rsync or browse the fileserver straight from their website.

They got different repacks of the games and usually offer all different regional releases.

So i started using ludusavi and i really like it! I can just dump all my saves onto my NAS and i'm good to go.

I now made two .sh files, one for ludusavi restore --force and one for ludusavi backup --force I made the global Lutris setting to exectute the restore BEFORE launching a game and backup AFTER exiting.

This should then give me a steamcloud like automatism where my savegames would be always on the newest version regardless on what PC i played on last time.

But this only works if i play them via Lutris. I have a steamdeck and a minipc with chimeraOS (steam gamepadui per default). I start the games via steam there, not lutris... does anyone know of some possibility to globally start a script or command before starting and another one after exiting the game in steam?

Because i have quite the few non-steam games in my library and also have all my emulated games in there.

That would be fantastic!
