  1. Learning the moves of a monster you have to fight helps immensely.

Either get bodied a few times and take notice of their moves, or watch videos of fights against any given monster.

  1. Adjusting your weapons and armor for the monsters resistances and vulnerabilities.

Good setup idea!

I love Aqara for all the sensors stuff, their products work good for me and are a breeze to set up with my son-off ZigBee stick.

I do use a door sensor on my mailbox as its still quite dark in the morning where I live and when the postguy delivers there wouldn't be enough light for it to trigger lol

Just to throw on some additional ideas: instead of a HA green you can get something like a HP EliteDesk G3 or Lenovo M75Q Tiny and run HA on that. You then have enough performance headroom for Frigate as your camera recorder even with machine learning based detection etc.

And you'd still have enough performance left to run something like Music Assistant 2.0

Regarding your question: yes I can look at the feed through my app at any given time

I use the RTSP2web application in home assistant for better latency, as direct RTSP streaming from the cameras has a delay of around 5 seconds.

I then just plugged that web stream into a video card on one of my dashboards and made a little dropdown menu for a couple preset PTZ points to quickly change to

Just installed Garuda-Hyprland on my NVidia 3070 System and it works like a charm and nearly out-of-the-box

I just had to install with nouveau drivers from the usb and install proprietary drivers after boot from disk.

Then i had to fix some issues with waking up after suspend and now i'm good.

Amazing how far all of this came!

Awesome to see that Bambu and the X1 Plus devs are talking.

Hey guys,

i just found out that we can self-host excalidraw. And i love this tool and want to use it on my own hardware... but i didn't get the collaboration running because i apparently only hosted the client but not the server.

Now i just don't want to set up everything by hand via npm... does someone know of a handy-dandy docker-compose that has everything needed hand in hand?

Thanks in advance!

We all are pretty annoyed at how the printer industry is screwing customers over. There are a few printers that are really good but most of them suck and try to suck out your money by demanding ink when none is needed.

And i also know that it's nearly impossible to create an open-source printer that can be build by smaller businesses like the 3D printing space can do.

But are there any projects underway to reverse-engineer printer firmware and make it possible to flash the custom ROM onto a printer? No specific manufacturer in mind right now, but wouldn't that make things better? Simply disable all the stupid checks that claim that you NEED ink to scan or that you NEED yellow to print a black text?

I want some new manga to read, please recommend me something!

I really really enjoy Eleceed and really want something like it again. Hero Killer is also very high on my list and so is my hero academia.

Anything more in that direction? Something funny and somewhat upbeat like Eleceed would be nice.

I prefer full color but am open to also read black and white.

FOSS-alt to Authy? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by RandomLegend@lemmy.dbzer0.com to c/opensource@lemmy.ml

I currently use Authy on my android and my Linux system.

It syncs every new authenticator between my devices but I dont want to trust companies with my security anymore.

I host a nextcloud instance on my homelab. Does anyone know a good FOSS authenticator that can use my nextcloud to sync between Linux and android? Provided that it is available on both of course.

Thanks for any input!

Komga and Kavita Metadata Fetcher is a tool that fetches metadata and thumbnails for your digital comic book library. It can automatically pick up added series and update their metadata and thumbnail. You can also manually search and identify series, or match the entire library or a series. Additionally, you can install the Komf userscript to add Komf integration directly to Komga and Kavita UI, allowing you to launch manual or automatic metadata identification.

It has a userscript to be integrated into the kavita UI https://github.com/Snd-R/komf-userscript
