For those not aware, a music video by “Ness and Stilla” called “Harbu Darbu”, which has no pretenses of what Israel intends to do with the people of Gaza, has been making waves and hitting top charts in the completely normal, democratic society known as Israel. The original cut was so racist (including verses of “goat-f*cking Arabs”) that it needed to be watered down just a bit.

Comments like this are actually quite common in Israeli media nowadays, since there’s now a lingering awareness that most of the world sees them for what they anre and detests them. Instead of introspecting why that is, they throw tantrums and flaunt their unearned sense of superiority as if they aren’t protected by the mightiest empire in the world (who they’re now growing to resent since said empire isn’t letting them deploy nukes to “finish the job”).

Also, of fucking course this comment is in Cyrillic. The Soviets were way too kind to Zionists in their midst and should have been a fraction as ruthless as they claimed they were.

Truly nothing at all tone deaf about calling Lenin a mass-murderer while events transpire in West Asia and Africa as a whole and Palestine in particular, all while things are pretty shit for working people even in the Imperial Core.

I think the funny thing to me is all the chuds (namely Westerners but all over really) thinking there's some grand conspiracy by the education systems and media to whitewash and minimize the "threat of communism", as if they don't already demonize Lenin. If they did what they wanted and tried to paint him as a black-hearted baby-eating psycho, the propaganda would be easily transparent and harder to impress upon people, who'd then get their information from less bombastic and more "nuanced" sympathetic sources. Really, it's much more effective anti-communist propaganda to paint the Russian Revolution as a well-intentioned but doomed and bloody attempt at making a better, more "equal" world. It's why the CIA funded Animal Farm and not something out of deranged White Russian propaganda publications.

I am glad more and more right wingers, even if still fringe, are finally starting to understand (if still very poorly) that MLK would have despised them and everything they stood for. Then they drop the mask and start talking like 60s Dixiecrats, loud enough for others to hear.

I, for one, encourage them to continue to “smear” one of the most beloved (if whitewashed) figures in America as a commie, which although isn’t accurate is far closer to what he actually was. It might help people get a clue and read more into the Civil Rights Movement’s history. Part of what helped me in my ideological development was learning how the US’s social advances came in spite of the “liberal democratic” system, and socialists/communists were fighting for these causes before it became fashionable for liberals to do the same.

I’m not sure what the propaganda endgame is with this angle that Zionists, both liberals and unabashed rightists, seem to have only doubled down on by showing Palestinian civilians attacking occupying soldiers in a fit of righteous fury and trying to imply they’re fair game for IDF atrocities. This only works during “normal times” in an environment where there isn’t a fresh commotion in the public caused by countless headlines accompanied by images/reels of devastated city blocks and grisly remains (some of which they outright celebrate as owning le terrorists). You’ve already outed yourselves as genocidal bastards, so not only is this as effective as showing someone an image of liberated death camp inmates dispensing mob justice on a Nazi, it’s also a glaring admission that your guys are deliberately killing civilians (or consider their lives expendable at best). Especially when you post this as a response to every atrocity as a deflection (as the pictured retweet was in response to the IDF desecrating some very non-threatening graves).

Perhaps it’s meant to desensitize people and communicate ‘subtly’ that “yes we’re killing civilians, they deserve it and there’s nothing you can do about it”. But I’m not sure how that’s going to pan out.
