The biggest hurdle is that someone played with you. If you got someone, the rest is easy. If you crash the weekly bingo night with a game you take Cabo with you. If you sneak into a magic tournament, you take Radlands.

Radlands. 2-player tower defence game. Minimal space required. Tight gameplay. I have the retail edition without the maps.

Cabo. Up to 5 players. Anyone can play it. From primary school kids to granny. Remember your cards and try to swap to get the lowest score.

The Dark Tower really really really resonated with me as a teenager. As did It and the stand. I liked goosebumps and horror in general. In recent years I read the Stand again and I realised I have a lot of questions about the story I didn’t have when I was young. So it really depends when in life you read them.

But one I haven’t seen mentioned much is Tommyknockers. I really liked it and of course you follow an author. Running man, the longe walk I liked too. Rage is an odd read, maybe because of the context of its legacy.

I prefer his older books. But only because I don’t like Krimis (Crime fiction). Therefore Mr Mercedes and later the Holly stories don’t work for me as good as his older books.

Joe Hill (his son) writes similar stories located at the east cost. Initially I thought I read his dad’s work.

Wie “hilfreich” das ist sehen wir hier:

Currently we run an Arcs Campaign. 2/3 games. Initially I thought I just have to concentrate on a C fate, because the first game I made barely any points. But game 2 I won. But I can’t count and therefore I will play a C fate after all.

We are in game 10/13 of Charterstone. It is a very lightweight legacy worker placement and okish.

My partner bought Deep regrets after having it played once and loved it. It is nice. Need to play it with higher player count.

Oh I love it, cause I actually remember: It was around 1998-1999. I was a child. A new mall opened and they had some kind of special. 1 hour surfing for 1 DM or 1 €. We had no internet at home yet only an old computer for fun. Nothing fancy. And I really wanted to go on the Diddl website. Imagine something like a german Mikey Mouse but as collectible like Beanie Baby’s. I was obsessed. Anyway I think each click took 5 min to load. There was lots to discover like the mid 2000 Gorillas website. My mom was annoyed. But I was hyped. 10/10.

Crafting, crochet, knitting, sewing, drawing etc I like to do it for myself and my loved ones. I like to cook and I live for gossip.

I think I got the same model at work. I didn’t realise because I used an external keyboard and when I checked online, the battery was already replaced once. I work in a lab and was so scared I initially placed it under the chemical hood until it had no battery.

I got to take it home (much later) and ordered a repair kit from iFixit and each step was explained for dummies and it was a blast to replace it. The one downside: my first battery I ordered was also bloated and I only realised once it was glued in. But they sent a new one within days and the second one was perfect.

The DeutschlandTicket is the best thing! I love it. I want that with their Steuernummer, baby’s get a DeutschlandTicket. Everybody needs a DeutschlandTicket.

Charts

Was habe ich verpasst?

This is a bit off topic, but I wanted to share it anyway:

Recently I got Cyberpunk 2077. I like the setting, I am a big fan of dystopian future. I am also a little radical about public transport in real life. I love to use it, I hate handling cars, I hate looking for parking.

One of the mayor things I noticed playing CP77 was the lack of public transport. I haven’t played a triple A ever and was surprised by the amount of NPCs. Everything felt so right in Night City. Urgency, dirtiness, people everywhere. Now it is coming with the next update. Thinking about it makes me not want to use the in-game car. It just pops up (hardly any waiting involved, weird) and you cannot really park it anywhere. It is just as useless as real life cars, handling is bad (maybe I am a bad driver but still). I love it. Yes, I can fast travel, but for immersion it is great.
