My last upgrade was XS Max to 16 pro max. Got a 120hz screen, tons of storage space, USB-C, and an insane camera upgrade (especially for cat pics in low light.)

I’ll prolly have this phone for 5-6 years like I had my XS Max for!

Made in Abyss. It sounded cool, I knew it had its issues, but holy shit the worldbuilding is top-tier.

I’m running a 12600k and a 3070 on my partner’s computer on a 650w PSU, so 750w is toootally fine for a 2000series.

Water doesn’t seep into my butt when I ultra super-soaker powerblast my anus directly using my bidet

So uhhhh no

It’s the only thing that makes going into the office bearable hahaha. I’ve been full remote for a month or two due to medical stuff, and I’m going back in soon, some weeks… I’m not excited for anything but my sweet bubbly water and chewable ice.

The flavored water is like La Croix, all sugar free! You can choose what flavor you want, how much carbonation, and if you want caffeine or electrolytes in it. I can’t drink caffeine anymore for some reason (makes me feel like I’m dying when I drink it) but I go through six or seven fills of my nice 30oz cup of flavor water every time I’m in the office.

Oh I forgot, they also got a nugget ice machine. Probably the best addition to the office.

My office was already “wear whatever you want, but then they installed four unlimited fancy coffee machines that grind the beans at-will and make mochas, lattes, espresso, and tons of other drinks… A multi-flavor bubbly water machine (love that), an additional unlimited cold brew on tap, and a snack bar… it’s nice I guess, but nothing comes close to working from bed with my cats all day.

I also cried at Saikano… my friend told me I would, and I’m like “nah I never cry”

I was wrong.

My game was refusing to connect, giving a connection error. I tried closing stuff, reopening, restarting my phone, everything I could. The final solution I saw was uninstall everything and reinstall it.

I did that. I tried to recover my data using an Apple account. No dice. I tried using my Nintendo account. No dice.

Was my stuff all local? Is it gone forever? I use my account to supplement my partner and trade with them, I didn’t really battle ever. But is all my stuff completely gone? I feel like it is.

Hiya!

Sometimes, when I’m texting and try to access another app, my phone cuts directly to keyboard settings. Does anyone know how I’m doing this? I like that it’s an option, but internet searching has failed me when trying to find out how I’m doing this.

Edit: A wonderful commenter solved my confusion—I was swiping up on the emoji button and that takes you to keyboard settings. Thank you again for your help!

I love that comment sections here are like, y’know, discussions and stuff. Not just the same jokes and parroted phrases over and over and over.

Hello there!

I am extremely new to this kind of stuff, and I’m excited to learn! I have recently acquired a Raspberry Pi 4b, which I would like to use to learn how to.. even begin with any of this. My experience with Linux is Ubuntu in 2008, then nothing until setting up my PiHole (I love you PiHole.)

I’ve heard all sorts of things about Docker and stuff. It seems above my head at this point when I’ve looked into it.

What I’d love to do is set up my Pi as a lil NAS. I’m seeing a video from this lovely fellow for setting up OpenMediaVault. Would you folks recommend I follow this verbatim, or should I do more research before doing such a thing? I think I overdid it on my OS card, by snagging a 256GB Extreme Pro (maybe should have gone endurance? I have a USB SSD and some USB HDDs I can use for this lil project.

Anyway, after learning that, I also have a GSA I came across with like 156GB RAM and like ten SAS drives. My mate tells me UNRAID might be the best choice for that. I’m a bit intimidated coming from nothing, so I’d like to play with my Pi first.

I suppose my main question is, for my use-case, does anyone have any resources, video or reading or whatever, that might help this situation? I’ve dug around a bunch but I’m in over my head. I’m good at tech stuff (CFW on my phones when I used Android, which was tough in the G1-G2 days, CFW on my PSP/3DS/Vita back when it wasn’t easy, standard-to-great PC building skillz like most of y’all) but this is a whole ‘nother beast!

I learned of this site from someone here and CANNOT, for the life of me, find it now. It was super simple like “watch.med.ia” or something, and had a dark, minimalistic UI. It had all things ever, basically, and the quality was stellar. No ads.

I’d love to find that site again, please, if anyone knows what I’m referencing.
