Yeah that’s very strange. The 1080ti still holds up super well!

What’s in your rig? I’m on a 9900k, 3070ti, 32GB RAM, and a nice SSD and I get 50-80FPS on high…

I’m currently watching YouTube on LibreWolf and have been all day. I’m on Windows 10, though. Our Linux box has been playing vids all day too, but that’s Firefox+uBlock.

I have a complete set of base through Fossil, with lots of first editions! I have no idea what they’re worth, but I could never part with them.

I feel so lucky, it came out right around when I was Ash’s age!

That’s the opposite of me… when I was in my early 20s and worked retail, a lady at my store saw my Pokémon hoodie and was like “my kids outgrew Pokémon, do you wanna buy their stuff for cheap?”

I go over there and there’s four containers (two of them Pokémon themed backpacks) full of minis, plushies, and more. I asked her how much and she’s like “ehhh fifty bucks?” I have never said yes so quickly in my life.

As I’m leaving, she’s like “oh do you want their cards for another forty?” And busts out three albums, complete sets of base, jungle, and fossil, with some other sets at the end. Base set had a bunch of first editions (not Charizard, unfortunately… just regular foil.)

I still have everything she sold me, 18 years later. I dunno if I can ever sell them.

Huh. Maybe I check it out again.

I forgot I bought Wilds… I put 200-400+ hours in every game since the first PSP game, and I think I have 40 hours in Wilds.

I don’t know why… it just didn’t… do it for me? I still bought it, I guess. Maybe it’s worth revisiting. It performed fine on my computer, but I didn’t love how it didn’t have a hub world.

I don’t think so. I just didn’t like the texture and taste, it wasn’t rotten or anything. It just wasn’t for me.

I loooove Uni! Soooo sea-tasting. It flavors all the sushi I eat after it, too!

Ooooo thanks for this! I played when it came out, but haven’t played in a year and some months. I’ll have to pick it back up and start over!

My partner thought “SMH” meant “so much hate”, and “SMDH” meant “so much damn hate”. It worked perfectly in every situation they heard it in. I taught them the real meaning when I realized this about a half decade into dating.

I LOOOOVE sushi. I love allll sushi. I’ve never had a piece of sushi I didn’t like.

…until I was at a nice sushi place, and I got sushi with a quail egg on it. I don’t know what else was on it, because the semi-raw or raw quail yolk ball was horrid. I couldn’t stand it. I spit it out and I felt soooo bad.

My game was refusing to connect, giving a connection error. I tried closing stuff, reopening, restarting my phone, everything I could. The final solution I saw was uninstall everything and reinstall it.

I did that. I tried to recover my data using an Apple account. No dice. I tried using my Nintendo account. No dice.

Was my stuff all local? Is it gone forever? I use my account to supplement my partner and trade with them, I didn’t really battle ever. But is all my stuff completely gone? I feel like it is.

Hiya!

Sometimes, when I’m texting and try to access another app, my phone cuts directly to keyboard settings. Does anyone know how I’m doing this? I like that it’s an option, but internet searching has failed me when trying to find out how I’m doing this.

Edit: A wonderful commenter solved my confusion—I was swiping up on the emoji button and that takes you to keyboard settings. Thank you again for your help!

I love that comment sections here are like, y’know, discussions and stuff. Not just the same jokes and parroted phrases over and over and over.

Hello there!

I am extremely new to this kind of stuff, and I’m excited to learn! I have recently acquired a Raspberry Pi 4b, which I would like to use to learn how to.. even begin with any of this. My experience with Linux is Ubuntu in 2008, then nothing until setting up my PiHole (I love you PiHole.)

I’ve heard all sorts of things about Docker and stuff. It seems above my head at this point when I’ve looked into it.

What I’d love to do is set up my Pi as a lil NAS. I’m seeing a video from this lovely fellow for setting up OpenMediaVault. Would you folks recommend I follow this verbatim, or should I do more research before doing such a thing? I think I overdid it on my OS card, by snagging a 256GB Extreme Pro (maybe should have gone endurance? I have a USB SSD and some USB HDDs I can use for this lil project.

Anyway, after learning that, I also have a GSA I came across with like 156GB RAM and like ten SAS drives. My mate tells me UNRAID might be the best choice for that. I’m a bit intimidated coming from nothing, so I’d like to play with my Pi first.

I suppose my main question is, for my use-case, does anyone have any resources, video or reading or whatever, that might help this situation? I’ve dug around a bunch but I’m in over my head. I’m good at tech stuff (CFW on my phones when I used Android, which was tough in the G1-G2 days, CFW on my PSP/3DS/Vita back when it wasn’t easy, standard-to-great PC building skillz like most of y’all) but this is a whole ‘nother beast!

I learned of this site from someone here and CANNOT, for the life of me, find it now. It was super simple like “watch.med.ia” or something, and had a dark, minimalistic UI. It had all things ever, basically, and the quality was stellar. No ads.

I’d love to find that site again, please, if anyone knows what I’m referencing.
