In what way is iOS more secure than Android?

Eh... it's pretty, I guess, but it's just too "appified" for power users. My Thunderbird UI is festooned with useful buttons and menus for quick access, and I like the old style of having elements tightly spaced to maximize contextual awareness.

This reeks of form over function. Yuck.

For its own sake, no. Unless I happen to be doing something I intrinsically enjoy that happens to give me exercise, I hate it every time. I need some really motivating tunes otherwise, and they wear out fast after a few listens.

I don't care what phone you have, but if you have an iPhone, I will assume you are an idiot by default until proven otherwise.

What we didn't have was algorithmic social media. That needs to a die a fiery death in the depths of hell.

If it were up to me, algorithmic curation and promotion based on viewership history would be outright illegal.

Except, as others have pointed out in this discussion, it's actually safer to let cyclists use stop signs as yield signs.

I hate that everything useful is being thrown out the window for "water proofing." Fuck that, people need to quit being so lazy and careless with their shit.

And I'm calling bullshit on the dust thing. I'm not saying it's a negligible consideration, but it's not something they need to start gelding features for. That's just a horseshit excuse to effectuate planned obsolescence and sell you overpriced accessories.

I still use an 8 year old phone with a tool-free replaceable battery, headphone jack, and microSD slot. I live in the country, there's dust everywhere and it would be dead by now if dust was such a problem.

I understand the need to obey traffic laws on a bicycle, but treating them the same as a 2+ ton projectile that can turn humans into meat paste or cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage to a structure in seconds by effortlessly adjusting your right ankle by 25° is absurd.

Fines should be proportional to the potential damage of the Infraction.

That estimate seems off by at least an order of magnitude.
