Spicy nuanced take: the definition of rape has become a spectrum, encompassing violent, overwhelming force to nonviolent deception and everything in between. So the quoted statement can be correct in some scenarios, but wrong in others.
If you're the victim of a violent assailant, you can and should be able to use any amount of force necessary, up to including deadly force, to escape. But turning up and wasting some dude because he stealthed you last week is unquestionably murder.
The hands. Always the hands.
I thought another country was considering donating F-16's a while back, but it fell through because Ukrainian air force pilots had no F-16 training. Was that just an unsubstantiated rumor or did something change between then and now?
I'm mostly read-only on reddit via RSS on a few subs I follow. As loathe as I am to admit it, reddit still has a massive user base with a lot of active niche discussions that lemmy just can't replicate yet.
Bullshit. Even the smallest 12" ThinkPads had all of these things. They were lightweight and compact, and still had 7-row keyboards, a status light for everything, and a plethora of ports.
You have to stay with the X, T or P series to get anything with decent quality. They've sullied the ThinkPad brand greatly over the years with the cheapshit variations outside of these series.
See:
Doesn’t mean they can’t offer both, and there’s no reason they can’t have status lights, 7-row keyboards, and reasonable port offerings (even if it’s mostly a bunch of USB C ports, which can service just about anything) in a smaller package, it’s that they’re cheap, lazy fucks selling trends instead of utility.
So now you get less and less utility and maintainability for the same or greater price. They spend less on engineering and charge you the same or more for it. Fuck them.

Yes, but we're talking about laptops.
I hope so. Now companies can wind down their New and Improved bullshit and get back to their regularly scheduled bullshit.
None. It's the shoop of Theseus.
