Our children are a reflection of us. If we build a society that is hostile to them, they’ll grow up thinking they can’t do anything or go anywhere on their own.

Quite frankly, y’all moderators are dumb as dirt if you let this happen. It’s obvious that this would happen (and will continue to happen) and it’s been obvious since the 48 blackout was announced. The top moderator of each participating subreddit should have removed all the other mods (even just temporarily) before they shut things down — to ensure no one could pull this move. And then even if Reddit did force the reopening, there’d be no one there to moderate it.
Ultimately, all three border the nation, so have a natural interest in ensuring it is stable, no matter what else. That’s more than can be said for America, who merely was interested in it for resource extraction, or using it as a jumping off point for future invasions, and treated it like a colony.

To be honest, the only thing that puts me off about this game is the one-liners and quips the MC was pumping out during the demo. I just want us to move past this era of marvel writing.
Allow me to elaborate.
In the military we have something called “unlimited liability”. It’s the main thing that separates us from civilians, and it ensures that the government can actually get things done with its military. It means we can be ordered into dangerous situations — situations which could cause almost certain death, and we have to follow those orders. If command wants you to be vaccinated against a certain disease because they believe you’re a liability if you don’t, you either get that vaccine or you reconsider your position in the military.
I also want to point out that one of the first things you do at boot camp is get a metric fuck ton of mandatory vaccines. If you opt to not receive them, well, bye-bye; have fun on the bus ride home. Anyone who is just now kicking up a fuss about mandatory vaccines is doing so entirely for political reasons.
