Board members, who have to vote. He cannot unilaterally control the company.

Institutional investors like Vanguard and BlackRock own over 65% of Amazon.

Amazon is not really owned by any singular person. Yes, Bezos owns 8% of it, but he's neither CEO, nor a president of the company.

He's founder of Amazon, not owner of it.

Step 1: Wake up

Step 2: Realize that people have never been okay with the idea of paying more, they only like to talk about making more (somehow, magically). I feel like rising prices are actually the only thing that can bring down Trump and MAGA, that's how much people hate it

How exactly and why do you expect people to simply pay more for games so that few people could make more money, likely in a different country? I just don't see market working like that.

Besides, how would you even start this without investors? Creating a product takes a long time, and you want to pay high wages while the company makes nothing?

Not sure what this comment means. I'm in a poor eastern country and I use VPN to Netherlands to browse torrent trackers. Pretty sure my country is far more problematic than central EU, but for whatever reason my poor country protects US interests more than most of the EU

The genitals are censored in porn, not in real life. I get what you said, but..

If you get a document with redacted lines, then it's a censored document.

The comment is still here tho

EDIT: And it's the most downvoted comment I've seen on lemmy

[–] REDACTED 2 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

I've always wondered why are comments about overpopulation downvoted on Lemmy when that is objectively, scientifically a real problem. Last I checked, earth can handle around 3-4 billion people under our consumption model. The earth is dying.

I do believe that once problems that commonly at the core occur from overpopulation (ie. rise in cost of living, housing crisis, water problems, etc.) the humans will simply not feel like making kids, so this is self-correcting problem, but still very damaging.

But I already explained that part in a lengthy comment about how scarcity leads to development of desires/lust, which can translate into weird porn categories like public voyeur or touching of private parts in public transport

Wait, are you saying that censorship of genitals is not a censorship of porn? I never said "lots of", I said strict. Censoring nudity is strict in my opinion.
