It's the main purpose of them, yes. Define TV to me. I don't see the point of paying for decoders, smart TV and bunch of other things I'll never use, much smarter decision is to buy a monitor which focuses on image quality and performance, far more suitable for consoles, Roku, etc.

Well, the top killer is Boost, which is a client for Lemmy, sitting at 1/3 battery usage.
There is something to be said about continuous community effort. Projects tend to continue even with original developers absent, sometimes for a very long time.
One of my favourite games is STALKER, and boy does it hold a story and history behind the community. The eurojank game that was modded into an AAA looking survival game that was even published to GOG (STALKER GAMMA). Such project could've probably costed millions for a studio. That's a weird take. I've played VRchat for around 100 hours, of which most was spent just bullshitting around and randomly inserting yourself in conversation that can go on for hours. Never noticed any porn rooms or whatever you meant by that, but I guess we have different goals in games

Honestly, VR sim racing or just having fun in BeamNG is peak VR experience. Planning to buy a better steering wheel soon, g29 is just not going to cut it. Everything else has bored me quite fast
The whole oculus business feels like in shambles. They neglected PC support while their own metaverse dies and standalone games are... Well, there are like 3 good ones. I sometimes feel like purchasing CV1 again, shit just worked flawlessly.
