Australia has declined China's offer to join them in a united front against the U.S. tarriffs.

 

On the 80th anniversary of being liberated by Canadian troops, the team from the city of Leeuwarden are wearing maple leaf-festooned jerseys.

 

It's confusing trying to buy Canadian with all the variations of made in, assembled in, grown in, packaged in, etc. Can we copy the Australian food labeling system, perhaps replacing the kangeroo with a maple leaf? I find this much clearer.

 

While Canadians are using "elbows up" diplomacy with the white house, they are welcoming U.S. tourists with open arms.

I was looking through some old vacation pictures and came across this one. It sure gives a perspective on how big these trees are.
