Lots of places street parking is illegal. It doesn't allow access for snow ploughs, street cleaners, garbage pickup, busses, etc.

Where does friend 3 park?

My British friend says that Americans don't have lawns. They have grassed in areas.

Well, there are other theories, so I learned they might have probably helped.

The waiter asked, "Do you want something to eat with that?" He replied, "I think not." The poor guy disappeared.

Yeah, they're huge birds.

William Stephenson contributed in many ways to the war against Hitler. Not the least of his achievements was running an espionage camp in Whitby, Ontario, Canada, where he trained American, Canadian, and British operatives. Retiring in Bermuda, he was visited by Ian Fleming who listened to his stories with great interest. Ian admitted to using some of William's characteristics in the building of James Bond.

I made a blind on our side of the bay because I've had so many birds take off as I approached in the past. It's paid dividends in being able to watch the birds and animals in secret.

Done. You're in. Seriously, it's not a perfect country, but it's pretty darn good. I've travelled all over (including living in the U.S.), and there's no place I'd rather be. Apply if you're interested. The big cities are expensive but have more opportunities. You need French if you want to move to Quebec. You can get a work permit if you want to try it out.

In Canada, you can own one. You just can't drive it around and use it as a civilian vehicle.

But Canada has way more snow than the U.S., so that doesn't seem to be a major factor.

Great idea. I wonder why they chose strawberries. Surely most vegetables are more popular and easier to grow.
