Yeah, I don’t agree with the conclusion (like at all), but I still found the first 3/4 of the article very nicely put and definitely worth reading.

Yeah, I mean, I get that. Still, one could argue, not every country had such a (at best) mixed history politics-wise and naming the different states existing at different points in time quickly tells the reader a lot of political context as well as highlights that there was a said transformation process (but not a magical one).

You often refer to Germany by the state then in place you mean, as there were multiple times where there has not been a single Germany (think DDR/BRD or before there was a single Germany to begin with) and overall a lot of German states with very different political systems during the years.

Why are there so many downvotes on this?

There was a race to the bottom for SSD prices that ended roughly in July 2023, leading to losses with manufacturers having to sell under production cost; this is why NAND/SSD prices increased since then and will probably only slowly start to decrease at the end of 2024. At the same time, there is very interesting technology in the making, I just read about SSDs with up to 1000 storage layers coming in the next few years. Same goes for HDDs, although less so and prices seem more predictable there; my focus for the next few years would be completely new storage methods competing with HDDs/SSDs, but I don’t think any of this will reach consumer markets at competitive prices until 2028. My prediction: HDDs will decrease like in the past years, SSDs will start really decreasing in price with the start of 2025 and it will take a few years for completely new storage methods to arrive.

This is not 100% correct, they had the Digamma in archaic Greek which was written as F, most often pronounced more like W than F though.

I agree, although some very unsympathetic part of me internally screams every time I read that.

Data is already plural, so the form datas does not exist. It even has the rarely used singular datum as it is just Latin for "given", but using data instead is generally also regarded correct.

I don’t really know whether having to take classes on gender and equality will have any positive, if not even negative effect as that could lead to permanent prejudice against the topic and everything related to it.

The point with EVs being over 45k is mostly the extremely pricey battery, China just subsidized until their cars are at a better price, the EU wants to protect European car manufacturers, that’s that.

Yeah, exactly. No one should be.
