Interesting! I've never burned though a shirt but perhaps I've been lucky. Maybe I do need to invest in one of these...

I just tried searching for these and I'm genuinely confused. Is it not just...a hoodie made of light material? I mean, surely most if not all clothing will stop you getting burnt.

I too like fancy pencils. Mitsubishi's range are my faves.

Spaceships Over Glasgow: Mogwai, Mayhem and Misspent Youth by Stuart Braithwaite - a musical memoir of the Mogwai star. It's a really great and nostalgic look back at the Scottish alternative music scene of the early 90s so far, enjoying it a lot!

For me it's the bizarre inability to set a subreddit's default view mode to be swipe. That extra button tap every time I'm on a picture heavy sub is a real chore. Boost can do it so why not Sync? 🤷

Super appreciative to have Sync for Lemmy to use in the meantime, but it's only increased my appetite for the real deal - Boost for life!

Seconded. NextDNS is incredible and you don't even have to subscribe to get the benefit unless you're a super heavy user.

It's like I've gone from using a promising alpha for a Reddit replacement to a near-finished product. I love it.

Voyager (formerly Wefwef). I'm still super excited to get Boost back in my life, but I'm so so impressed with just how functional and great feeling the Voyager team have been able to make a PWA.

I was having real issues for ages with torrent activity causing issues on my home network, and tried all the usual things - e.g. Limiting bandwidth use, limiting number of connection, disabling DHT and the like - but for me, the culprit turned out to be the VPN, and specifically the use of a traditional openvpn based connection. Switching to Wireguard made a transformative difference. No issues since.
