I use Google keep personally and one note professionally.
I left Evernote about 2 years ago. It was clear at the time that free users were only in the way. I can't imagine it being any easier to use.
It will be ok. It might take a little longer to dry. If you have a blower or canned air it will help dry things out.
If you are super paranoid, let the case sit open overnight before repasting.
If you don't like canned air, you can use a blower/duster.
That's cool. Looking again, the character in the image is Konoha, the main character in the anime. The dithering is an homage to one of the episodes.
Between the eyes and the dithering, were you inspired by 16-Bit Sensation?

At the time I was part of the religious right. I don't remember the books being directly targeted, but I do recall what could be considered a bit of leftover satanic panic as well as anti secularism.
I found out about the books when people at work were discussing them. I personally was interested in fantasy my whole life and was partially put off by the idea of witches, but since it wasn't a satanic manual of evil I was okay with it.
I think the churches got wind of it too late, and while some people totally read it because it was forbidden, I don't think it was ever considered counterculture.
