It matters. He must not be allowed to go quickly or peacefully. He must be tortured live on the internet until it takes him. I won’t be happy with anything less. After all, it’s the cruelty that matters.

Citizens arrest is legal.

You know, anyone can honor the ICC’s warrant. Any individual. Doesn’t have to be a state actor. A mob of good intentioned folks can scoop him up and fly him to them. And because the ICC issued it, it’s not illegal to do so.

I suspect imposing this will just split the community, a new community would be born, and this one would become less and less shiny over time until it's just a shell of a very few small core users. Not because what you propose is bad or wrong, but people are lazy... and memes usually speak for themselves.

Too bad. It’s how change happens.

Of course those things matter. What is important is that minus the social media, we as a society need to build healthy and affirming alternatives to compensate for this gap. The hard part is figuring out what forms those should take and how to keep them from having similar pitfalls.

Well then those kids should have voted. ... Oh. ;)

Gnome. It was designed first for touch and desktops last.

What use to be the PPA that allowed Ubuntu users to use native .deb packages for Firefox has recently changed to the same meta package that forces installation of Snap and the Firefox snap package.

I am having to remove the meta package, then re-uninstall the snap firefox, then re-uninstall Snap, then install pin the latest build I could get (firefox_116.0.3+build2-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~mt1_arm64.deb) to keep the native firefox build.

I'm so done with Ubuntu.
