I really like SRSLY Wrongy. It's a utopian improv-comedy podcast where I actually leared a lot.

China and the USSR didn't "try" it. They just claimed that thsy do it in the workers' interest. Don't know too much about Guba and Venezuela, but I'd wager that the same happened then.

... Ever heard of Catalonia, bootlicker?

That's not solarpunk. It's generic futuristism.

Are you sure there was no secret? Did you stand completely motionless in front of the waterfall for 3 minutes?

Wow! Thank you for the thorough answer!

You misunderstood one thing, though: I don't consider someone forcing me to give up my password to be a valid attack vector. My devices can be stolen and all hardware keys with them. But I woun't get blackmailed to give anything up. Maybe plausible deniability is a good backup, though.

I'd like to go into further detail, but I feel like I already said too much for a non-throwaway account.

I do realize that convenience and security are a two ends of a see-saw. Thank you for the Vera.crypt hint. Even though I don't know if I would use it, it sure sounds interesting.

Thank you. I already follow Stephanie Sterling's work. ;)

Duke Amiel du H'ardcore, is that you?

Really nice. Didn't think a "tree replacement" could actually make ranger obsolete.

Why would you want it floating if every window is maximized? These requirements contradict each other.

The linux community is IMHO a bit focused on tiling WMs. I like tiling as well, but in this case: the vanilla gnome workflow is kinda 70% of what you want already. The rest can be done via extensions.
