The SMO is overwhelmingly approved of in Russia

Yeah sure, the F-16s which crash in the rain and that can't handle anything but pristine landing strips will definitely turn the war in Ukraines favor. Good luck with crewing it too lmao.

That's the F35. The F16 though is outclassed by modern russian jet fighters like SU-27 so it's a moot point. Unless the west is giving F35s it doesn't matter, they're generations old tech that cannot handle S300s let alone S400s and S500s.

Don't forget about cluster bombs and depleted uranium shells

Probably will drag on for a decade until 2032 with Russia slowly coming out ahead via attrition like the Syrian Civil War.

Zelesnkyy is a hundred millionaire before the conflict. I have to imagine he's in the billions by now, after 150+ billion dollars sent to Ukraine that he's been grafting off of

Only when the empire is forced to use conscription. As long as they can use mercenaries, proxies, intel officers and enlistees then there will never be a public mass movement against imperialism. Americans are just too chauvinist to care unless their skin is in the game.

but it was propaganda to help ensure Soviet criticisms of double standards could be dismissed by Amerikkkans.

It was actually propaganda by Britain to help ensure that Irish criticisms of double standard could be dismissed. It's funny how even leftists have adopted this straight up Russiagate lie that "whataboutism" was used against Soviet propaganda. It originated in Britain in the 80s to use against ireland

Putin was trying to force a compromise/negotiation. He was trying to cause panic and disarray in Ukraine so they would be forced to negotiate. It would have worked too if not for UK/US jumping in immediately to control negotiations and supply mercenaries and weaponry

Why would Russia suffer similar casualties when they have been defending for over a year, have vast artillery advantages and vast drone and airpower advantages? Ukraine lost probably 25,000 people in its counter-offensive just to mines since it started. There's no way the ratio is even somewhat close, which is why Russia isn't doing additional rounds of mobilization and is drawing this out - they understand they win the attrition war
