This, and gaming. Linux has come a long way, but has a long way to go. Linux seems to be a long string of hicccups that need to be solved, instead of something that works for me. Although the POPos distro was by far the smoothest, it still became troublesome trying to play games on it.

Pretty new to this, but isnt the power of the fediverse that you can use whatever you like and connect to other instances?

If i want to see mastodon content in pleroma, you can subscribe to the users from Pleroma?

Like i use KBin to view this, because of the ability to view both Lemmy and Mastodon content. But Ive seen people link to pixelfed users and that works too

What is the intended use case?

Spotify with a family deal. Recommendations and daily playlists make the difference

There is still a dedicated following actively playing. Didnt see a community on Lemmy or KBin yet, but it has an active subreddit.

That would be awesome for embedded links. Comments on the video or pic to be federated back to peertube or pixelfed in their comments to keep the conversation going across services.

If i understand it correctly, the system is built to spread info and decrease load but at the same time to get the best and most up to date info everyone needs to be on one instance?

Weird, must be a mistake in my understanding of the fediverse

This is satire, right?

Is there somewhere we can see the status of the queue? like useless but fun info for users. Gives people some insight in the amount of messages send and received.

Its almost at 120k active right now. Will be interesting to see if it will hold over time. KBin has been treating me well so far.
