Karateka, along with everything else Jordan Meschner did following it, starting the Prince of Persia series.
It's a nice evolution of personal style.
I've more or less dropped out of mainstream gaming so have no idea how the more recent Prince of Persia games play, nor if he has any involvement... but anyone who knew the original games should understand that these games did something foundational with movement and interface, helping the player to feel involved in the action.
Absolutely, but this was an homage to a period of time rather than to a movie.
And I'm not at all condemning the movie, it's definitely a me issue. I couldn't buy into the premise or the main characters and dipped out before the plot kicked in.
I'm a huge fan of both Walton Goggins and Damon Herriman, so I may revisit the movie at some point.
And the one Tarantino film I didn't finish, despite loving some of the cast.
It's a movie about loving that age of Hollywood, which I don't and never had. And then of course a Tarantino plot is slapped on top of it but I still was bored out of my mind.
In my uninformed opinion, it's likely a part connecting Act 2 to Act 3 that they aren't totally happy with and are trying to either smooth out or replace.
Watching it now. I'd learned of it from a YouTube series analyzing similar movies called Goodnight Rita.

Don't be noteworthy. Don't do things that will get you noticed.
Since people are around, act appropriately. The cameras change that very little. Gossip is still powerful, proof is just easier to come by.
