Totally agree, FOSS doesn’t mean immune from malice. I saw some articles talking about a signing issue but that was years ago. Odd they haven’t addressed it in that amount of time.

I am trying this program on mobile and Mac but am hesitant to try on windows as the virus total scan is coming back positive for 2 hits. Any concerns there?

In my opinion it makes a project even more secure. Many eyes are able to inspect the code and review it for known and unknown vulnerabilities. It is a cat and mouse game anyway, you might as well broadcast all the flaws in hopes of people catching them and helping to fix them.

It has been like 2-3 years since I’ve used it, but if i remember correctly you name the topic you’re working on and can tag it to an existing project. Its made to quickly label a sub task and start the timer, then you can organize the time blocks later or at the end of a working session. It really is quick and intuitive. Good luck!

Toggl is web based. I have used that in the past with success.
